31.5% year on high volume and questionable selection incoming.

These kinds of stories are what make the NBA entertaining lol. Looking forward to see how this plays out.

Bro was literally a top-10 player for two months in Brooklyn stretch post KD trade season.

This trade might be a complete disaster for the Knicks. I also think they’re going to really miss DDV next year.

What's the old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

I can't understand why he would completely change his shot to something that looks mechanically so horrible. And not surprisingly it has led to his percentages nosediving.

I suspect he's doing a modular thing to change the shot and this isn't the final form. If it ain't right 20 games in he needs to cut the crap.

How easy is it to cut the crap and just go back to an old shooting form. Won’t that take time too? I feel like this guy is gonna be tossing up bricks for 40 games til he figures it out

Hes developing bad muscle memory for his jump shot IMO. It'll be difficult for him to just revert to his previous form.

This news honestly surprised me and it'll likely have long term ramifications. What a weird decision on his part to totally rework him jumpshot, which no one was complaining about to begin with.

Still better than Cam Payne's mechanics. Lol. After waiving Suns legend Landry Shamet send those two back to Phoenix. We'll give you Beal and his beautiful shot in return.

Hope it doesnt get into his head and he get back to old form. This looks ridiculous.
Knicks payed a lot for a guy who decied to change perfectly fine shot...hopefully it doesn't bite them in the ass, but sadly we are talking about the Knicks here. If something can go bad, it will for them.

Between Bridges (non)jumpshot and then whatever the heyul Cam Payne (literal pain) is doing, I'm having trouble keeping my lunches down. :(

Seems like he told himself, I'm not sure if he's watched film of himself. I always record myself if I'm trying to tweak anything with my shot, because I've realized that how you think you look shooting vs how you are actually shooting can be very different things.

He totally takes the dip out of his shot and just makes it a sling

This was him in college:

This was the original hitch he developed years ago:
;pp=ygUjbWlrYWwgYnJpZGdlcyBzaG9vdGluZyBmb3JtIGNvbGxlZ2U%3D

It looked like his shot was fine with what he did in the years following. This current one definitely can't be the final form lol

It's wild that some people are saying that he'll just revert back to his old form midway through the season once the realizes this won't work. That's not how this works LMFAO

Depends, you can revert back to the old form, sometimes that muscle memory is hard to overcome in the heat of things, but what he might end up having is a time where he has an inconsistent form and that can certainly affect the shot consistency from game to game.

I like Bridges, so I hope he figures it out, definitely will be interested to see how it plays out.

Hopefully JB and Hart have a nova Knick talk with this guy and get him right. He’s straight sabotaging the team as of now
