Bron would prolly have too much pride to join MJ but definitely the second tier stars like Barkley , Malone, Olajuwon, Robinson

In what world is Hakeem a second tier star?

Everyone was second tier to MJ

In his "prime", he rigged the west so AD joined him - two first team all NBA players for the first time since Shaq and Kobe on the same team. And then tried to lure Kawhi there, too, who was 2nd team all NBA. Please do not use the word pride in the same sentence with the ring chasing fraud.

I remember having two friends who were bummed Lebron went to LA because they thought he ruined his chances and I said “Nope. He’ll be teaming up with either AD, Paul George or Kawhi. You’ll see”.

This was when PG was much better, btw.
:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o

Deserves a suspension, perhaps a flat out banning, for trying to make the board dumber.

Yea Hakeem imo is a top 10 player of all time and was incredible during Houstons 94/95 final runs. He was probably the second best player in the league a good portion of the 90s. Saying he was a second tier star is criminal.

So it’s criminal to think the best player of all time who won 6 championships during the same decade as Hakeem was in a tier by himself?

Bro shut up lol I promise thinking MJ being a tier above Hakeem is not a hot take by any stretch of the imagination

Hakeem is tier two relative to the 90s and tier two relative to NBA History. Being fringe top 10 doesn’t make you a tier one star. That tier is reserved for MJ, Bron, and Kareem only.

Jordan never retires, Hakeem is ringless like Barkley and Malone.

I don’t think that the Bulls win in 95 without Horace Grant or Dennis Rodman.

But if the Celtics injuries happened sooner, Hakeem wins a ring in 86. If Ralph Sampson doesn’t get injured the Rockets may win it all in 88, 89, and 90. If the Rockets trade Ralph Sampson for the 3rd pick in the 84 draft then Hakeem wins 10 rings.

Yeah but then you also have to give the Bulls peak Wade+ peak Bosh followed by peak Love + peak Kyrie.

With that level of depth MJ doesn't burn out and take a break. I'd say Bulls win 8 straight

He's getting smoked in every Finals except maybe 97 or 98, he'll probably manage to get one of those

What guarantees you he even fits in with Wade/Bosh or Kyrie/Love? He's not the all-around player LeBron is to make it work

Peak KD would utterly embarrass Rodman. He'd have no answer for KD's combination of size, length, handle and shooting touch. People also forget, younger KD was a good athlete. He used to posterize guys every now and then.

The answer is zero. You're talking about adding a guy who has arguably one of the ~15 highest peaks ever and putting him on teams that were already good enough to get to the finals.

Yea no one is stopping prime Durant and the real answer is zero. Not a fair question obviously but the true answer would be zero.

He would finally have some competition. Instead of beating up on Dan Majerle or Jeff Hornacek

He fit better with an on ball player(Pippen) than LeBron did with any of his on ball teammates.

Jordan is the better on ball scorer and is like 3 worlds better off the ball than LeBron.

Rigged the west? He joined the Lakers and then they traded for AD. At least try to make a little bit of sense with your posts.

None of those trios have anyone that can really run an offense like LeBron could. Those wouldn’t be ideal fits for Jordan at all, especially Irving/Love.

Depends on who you are removing from those teams to make room for Durant. Malone? Stockton? The Glove? I mean you can't seriously mean that they just get to add Durant and keep everyone else, right? Make this make sense.

The 90s equivalent would be Karl Malone joining the Rockets in 1995
