I'm sure Suns themselves hoped to be good given they have no control of their draft picks until 2032- 2026 pick included which is entangled in the web of swaps more complicated than quantum physics.

They brought in Williams hoping for something to click there - even though they could've just let Maluach play to fast-track his development.

Suns are a mess and yet I don't know what the panic button would be for them. Trading Booker for garbage because of his ridiculous extension? I mean, it's the land of misfit toys over there. Feel for the fans.
