If I were him I wouldn't be sad. He had an excellent career and even managed to help the Suns see their first Finals relevance since Barkley. Even was good on OKC and helped SGA's development. He wasn't even terrible last year with Wemby and in GS he was having to adjust and did decent there too.

It's hard for guy with his mentality to accept their done. His numbers were super bad this year but it didnt really matter as he said he was retiring already so he was aware he was done.

I just don't see why the team just didn't put him on the IR list and let him play the final game of the season like Vince Carter did to an ovation. They are paying him anyway unless he just didnt want to do that.

I know he won’t but I wish he’d sign with Orlando. To have a veteran’s presence that can guide our youthful guards would be awesome.

Snorted. I reckon they will have retirement home in another LA has been team and it is about to spiral down.

What a bum franchise to do that to your greatest player in franchise history during his farewell season.

Lawrence Frank and the Front Office continue to show they are clueless

I think that's why it said they are sending him home and Frank says we will work with him in next steps as opposed to they are waiving him. They are probably trying to trade him somewhere to make it work.

Very random though

Who the hell is "I"?

Lawrence Frank? Steve Ballmer?

If he isn't the one to blame then why cut him? CP3 isn't playing well and he is definitely part of why they are 5-17 or 5-16 whatever but he is just a small part of this mess. He is retiring and in his farewell tour and you cut him. This franchise.

There's definitely more to the story.
It's mutual, they're not doing him dirty..

He wants to ring chase,Clippers were supposed to be a contender of sorts but clearly, that's not the case

i saw 5min of cp3 the other night. i think it might have been vs the mavs cuz it was recent

I WAS SHOCKED. he looked like an old nobody at the park in a pickup game against pros

i had to double check the jersey. it was 3. he even LOOKED old. i said "this is his last year"

the wording is weiiiird. "we are sending him home" sounds like something a caregiver says about your grandpa walking around the neighborhood in his pj's

CP0 is the most washed up player of the league currently and it's not even close (this is saying a lot when Lebron is still out there padding his stats playing). He should just retire.

Wow, talk about going out sad. There may be some teams interested if he really wanted to, though

People act like he won 2 or 3 rings with the Clippers. Come on.

There's 3 options...

#1 Lakers, stays in LA and chases with buddy LeBron.
#2 OKC, been there before and ties to SGA.
#3 Denver, Needs another player who can create when Jokic isn't on the floor... also a top 3 team in the league

I don't think he fits any style. He is done. But would be nice to have him retire as a Sun though.
