I didn’t think we could possibly out do ourselves this year compared to the circus that the ACC was against VC and the Nets…but game 3 and 4 (especially game 3) was something I had never experienced…the crowd was amazing, chants, signs, the sea of red…I went to the game with my boss and he didn’t show up to work the next day because his voice was gone…I was sitting about 10 rows up from the Magics bench and all the guys where looking up into the stands throughout the entire game...HOWWWARRRD!

Golden State and Sacramento. Northern California supports basketball to the fullest.

I put Sacramento second because their arena was quiet/empty a lot this year. The Kings weren't even that bad of a team this year. I went to both arenas multiple times. The only time it got semi-loud in Arco is when the Warriors/Lakers were in town and both times it seemed like they got invaded by the opposing team's fans. Sacramento fans need to start coming back to full force because they were easily the loudest in the league.

Yeah, this is true. Because last year under Mussleman, we were horrible and had a 33 win season. And people just stop going consistently and thus breaking the streak of consecutive sellouts at 355ish at opening night this year. BUT this year wasn't THAT bad, the crowd still got in the game very well. And our crowd is still better than the majority of the league EVEN our depleted crowd. We still have crazy fans still. But yeah, Sacramento is 2nd in your list.

Here is a sample of the Arco crowd this year, when the Kings are playing good basketball (Our home record was 26-15, which is actually great. Put that into perspective, that the FOURTH BEST home record in the East behind Boston, Detroit, and Cleveland):

That's because it's F*CKIN HYPHY out there in the Bay Area.

Like seriously if Oracle Arena made their lower level tickets for NBA games around $15 dollars, you'd get a crowd as hyphy as THIS:

yeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

And here's a clip of both the Bay and Sacramento basketball crowds.

Even the Bay's rich white people be going crazy during games too, you saw that sea of gold during the 2007 NBA Playoffs, crazy.

-I have seaon tickets to the Jazz and we have some on the most die hard fans out there, it is crazy how loud we can get. The playoffs are insane, after every game my ears would be ringing for about a half hour and my voice would be completly gone. I love Utah's crowd and all the fans everyone else hates us but thats just being a Jazz fan.

It can't be the warriors and not even close.... Don Nelson even said that Utah was the loudest arena he had ever been to...
"This is one of the loudest crowds I've ever coached [against] before," said Golden State's Don Nelson, who has been coaching in the NBA since shortly after the Pilgrims landed. "This is an unbelievable fan base here, and the Jazz should be very proud of that as well. We're trying to compete with [them] and I think we're close, but I don't know. [It's a] fantastic crowd, unbelievable in this building. It was fun to be in this game."
I was at Game 3 vs. the Magic in the upper bowl.. it got sooo loud when the Raps went on a run near the end of the half that this woman behind us passed out. Paramedics spent like 20-25 mins trying to revive her!

Please, there was no siginificant difference between the Warriors and the Jazz's crowd in terms of volume in the playoffs last year.

As of now there are about 5-6 teams in the highest echolon of noise.

(in no order of rank)

Boston
Utah
Sacramento
Golden State
Toronto

I agree, the Knicks had a loud crowd at one point in time, but I haven't heard it in many seasons. I can't even remember the last time they made the playoffs.

LOL please don't tell me that you take Don Nelson seriously during his interviews.

You have to learn to take most of what he says with a grain of salt. Remember what he said about the Warriors vs. Dallas during that year? He said something like "We have a better chance of getting hit by lightning than to be able to eliminate Dallas in the first round. It's ok though, this series will be a good experience for my players".

Don't get me wrong though, i'm not saying that I don't think Utah is louder than Golden State's arena. I'd put Utah number 1 on my list as well, but i'm just saying that just because Don Nelson says something doesn't mean that it's official. haha.
