Durant, Iverson and Ricky Rubio are the players who have more wingspan, they look like a monkey
I think that Durant can dunk without jump :o

Either Bynum's head would have to be really big, or Howard's head would have to be really small, and to me their heads look to be about the same size. A more likely explanation for Howard's large wingspan is that his chest is very wide and he does have long arms.

It's not how big the head is, it's how long the neck is.

I would normally agree with this. Logic dictates that a high shoulder level has a better reach. And of two players of equal everything except neck, the one with the higher shoulder(shorter neck) should have a better reach........UNTIL HANSBROUGH'S measurements came in. I beliived that TH would measure short for exactly the reason you state. But instead, he measured quite well everything considered. Still trying to figure that one out,,,unless he cheated like he cheated on the agilities.

I concur. Not surprising the league is mostly black.

I guess the Vitruvian man thing only holds true for white people.

Kevin Willis is one player who had short arms but was successful in the nba.

I'd love to know what Gasol/Bynum/Odom's wingspans and standing reaches are. LA has three guys 6'10"-7'1" with extreeeeeeme length on their frontcourt.

So if their heads are the same size, then Bynum's neck has to be really long, or Howard's neck has to be really short. Take a look at both players and tell me that's what you actually see.

Where'd you get that info? Any info on standing reach? Because I'm pretty sure the reason Bynum's wingspan is wider is because he's broader across the chest/shoulders than Gasol is. I'd love to see standing reaches for Gasol/Odom/Bynum for this reason.

The thing that really stands out with my in regards to Tyler is although he has a slightly longer neck, he has very narrow shoulders. That probably accounts for the fact that his measurements across the board are identical to Blake Griffin while having a longer neck.

7'6 is about right for Bynum. I remember specifically Tyson Chandler saying that he thought himself was long but when he matched up against Bynum, Bynum was much longer.

He has a 6'11.25 wingspan. It's not amazing but not that bad. Lebron has a 7' wingspan, are you going to make fun of Lebron's length?

Wingspan isn't important. You do not get a sense of Griffin arm length with his span. He has alligator arms because his standing reach is 8'9
