Donte Green was measured 6' 8.25" tall, 221lb

the NBA typically uses measured height in shoes.

I see him having a similar role to KG offensively in his prime. Please read the bold since I know so many posters like to take things out of context. Defensively, he probably will never come close to Garnett's ability, but that's not a terrible thing, since so few do.

I'd say think:
offense: young KG (at SF)
defense: Josh Smith

He's one of the new hybrid forwards and that is a terrific prospect to have.

Come on man, are you serious?

Offense=young KG???
defense = josh smith???

More like
Offense=A taller Magic Johnson
Defense=A quicker, more athletic Hakeem.

The "NBA" doesn't do anything, their listings are a pure extension of what their college team billed them as or the players representatives/agents decided. Their listings have nothing to do with the in-shoes height that's legitimately measured at the combine. ESPN *has* been using draft combine in-shoes measurements during the live draft starting this year and the numbers obviously did not jive with the college/nba player profiles.

The difference between KG and Randolph is after a rebound, KG brings the ball up and then sets up the offense.

Randolph pulls up for a jumper that bricks.

This guy has great potential but a superstar? Warriors fans need to chill. The guy will be a slighty better, longer, version of Josh Smith. Probably an all star a couple of times.

These types of expectations made Clippers fans hate Lamar Odom when he didn't live up to them. Randolph could end up the same, as a very talented all around player that isn't a superstar.
