Yeah that was pure punk. And I like DC. The part I do agree with about his initial statement is discrepancies in reffing. Whoever flops, whatever the name on the back of the jersey, calls should be consistent. That way, all these concerns - superstar calls, flopping, punk moves, taunting, etc., etc. - will be equally dealt with. No doubt players will keep trying, but it's up to the NBA to set a higher, more uniform precedent. The Clips/Kings game last night was a pleasant surprise to that end. Not everything was called, or called the right way (as above example shows), but at least the calls mitigated some of the anger about BG being babied by the league. It was entertaining up until the wheels fell off the Sactown train. Stopped right at the Whatthehelljusthappened Station. To his credit, BG was more focused on playing rather than complaining on the court, and articulate off of it in the post-game interview.
