Im at work right now and people have been mourning, I live in Europe. Thats how far Kobe's influence reached. I feel like i've been to a funeral.

Me and my boss used to have countless discussions about who the better player was between Kobe-Lebron. All that is nonsense now it doesn't matter. All he and i will remember is how excited he made us feel when we talked about him.

I'm 29 and an NBA fanatic all my life and I literally grew up with Kobe being completely ingrained in that culture. This whole situation therefore seems particularly surreal to me.

I'm in midcity Los Angeles. I'm really struggling right now. Everyone sees me in my Kobe jersey and sharing their stories. I thought it would help but I just had to go to my office and shut the door. I'm crying. This is so hard.

Nope. Magic coached the Lakers in 1994 and then quit, came back to play in 1996, and then retired that May, before Kobe was drafted. I also don't buy that you've met Kobe Bryant on numerous occasions, but hey, if you're telling the truth, then good for you.

Yes, you are right about Italy's love for Kobe.
I didn't catch you meant outside of US in your previous statement. I don't know in other euro's nations, but here in Italy even a big portion of non-basketball fans knew who Kobe was (and is).
I'm Italian, forgive me if my English is not good.

There’s a lot of kids on Twitter (under 18 demographic) that Perk is pandering to. They love seeing this stuff and Perk knows it. Could be genuine on his behalf but I doubt it’s the only motive.

Going to be hard, but I am not letting myself watch Westworld Season 3 after ERW's comments. She can go get Coronavirus.

I feel you dude. I honestly dont know what to think anymore regarding this season. I cant find the joy in watching the games this season. It feels empty without Kobe there at staples with a big smile on his face with his daughter. 2020 has been **** terrible.

2020 has been **** terrible.

People say this every single year around this time. This is a tragedy, but the world is full of tragedies. Its a random existence where you can be gone in an instance. It has never and will never change. All we can do is appreciate the memories, hug the people we love and go tackle life to get out of it what we please.

Magic was an assistant coach at the time then, either way he was traveling with the team.

Why is he a weasel? He's remembering that life is short and wants to make amends and be at peace.

because if he really felt that way he'd send KD a text, not post it on Twitter to make sure everyone sees what he's doing, and he's been a weasel his entire post-playing career, literally drumming up BS nonsense so he can get a seat on ESPN.

Maybe he did send KD a text first? And he also wants the public to know he's sorry. I don't see anything wrong with this. I'm not sure why you're complaining about this right now.

The toughest pill to swallow has been the fact that I didn’t get a chance to verbally speak with my brother not only to reconcile our differences but to find out if he actually had a relationship with The Lord Almighty. I Pray his relationship with The Lord was real. #brothers pic.twitter.com/OflRiwNMsb

What a weird, sorta dark thing to say.

Guess Smush had to find jesus because he couldn't find his jumper.

and Magic is far from the important part of my story, it is irrelevant if he was coach, assistant coach or playing, he was traveling with the Lakers at the time and I wanted to share my Kobe story, believe it if you want.

Maybe the ones that are under like 12 might now know much about him but around my age - 29 also, everyone know Kobe.

I'm from Toronto and most people I know, their fave non-raps players are Kobe, MJ, and Bron. Sometimes KD or Curry.

Even in coming decades when we reflect on the last generation of NBA players there's always going to be this Kobe-sized hole. We can see what they are all up to, they can all reminisce with each other, we can hear their thoughts but Kobe just won't be there.
