Disagree, Ivey put up 31/8/6 in 37 mins of action total (Paola played 34 mins in just tonight's game) and looked primed to have a huge game before he got injured.
His name is Paolo. Paola is a female's name.

Paolo has shown the versatile skill set you like to see. But “played well”? Not really. In OT, he dribbled himself into trouble twice and the game winning assist had nothing to do with him, really.

Paolo’s going to be very good and a very interesting player. But other than having the ball in his hands all the time, he hasn’t been that good this week. Just means he’ll get a lot more comfortable yet.
I think he's been pretty good. He's been catching a lot of double and triple teams and handled it well.

Morrow also dropped 42 in a real NBA game, so maybe we should be putting all the stock into summer league

OKC fans, I truly do hope that Chet does well for you guys.

Pharmcat only really needs to tell you the one time. He doesn't do constant reminders.

Cade was pretty vocal about him being the best player in the draft before the draft.

Marcus Banks was a summer league MVP. it's nice to see these guys playing with nba jerseys on, but making proclamations off of summer league performances is just silly.

Injury bug has hit Orlando hard with draft picks. Biggest concern with Chet is injury from his build. Not surprised Orlando didnt want to gamble. I hope Chet is more KG than Przingis but Orlando did what they had to do.

well i guess thats his floor and randolph, who was a big bully on the floor is his ceiling

How is the dude's worth ethic? He's had a few years to prepare for the draft but still looks quite chunky. I like his game but that's more than enough time to shed pounds for the NBA DRAFT which is supposed to be a life changing goal for people. You'd think someone who really wants it would at least do that.

there's probably a reason he went undrafted.....

Yeah. No doubt he's an intriguing mix of good things, but that weight.

I'm just wondering how many games it will take for a smart, burly NBA PF or C to back hard into him and send him flying three rows up and landing next to the fat guy in the Iverson jersey.

It won't take many games for him to take a hard bump from a big dude that causes him to fly. But it's not like that means he's toast, lot of those plays the big guy is gonna risk offensive fouls and Chet's also really good at verticality so other guy's still gotta finish over him.

Feels like lots of people keep thinking 'man that skinny frame is gonna do him in' without having anything in particular in mind for what it's going to make impossible for him. Like I think it'll matter most in putbacks, but how often is that a thing?

Paolo is showing pretty much everything you could ask for in a #1 pick in SL. Even looking past the stats when you watch him, he has the IT factor.

Basically anyone can tune in and if they know nothing of the draft or anything but just sit down and watch Paolo right now, their immediate thought would be “that guy is just different than everyone else”.

Now again it’s just SL and we have seen plenty of guys crush it in SL then go on to do nothing. Just saying if you’re a Magic fan, the first mini test has been passed with flying colors so far. 2 games in and Paolo is already in the “this dude is clearly way too good to be playing in SL”.

Nope Magic got it right. Less athletic Lakers Lebron = Paolo.

I actually think that top 3 will all end up at the very least being borderline all stars. I would bank on Holmgren being the best of the three but no one’s getting a bust

To be fair he also had 8 turn overs...As much as the rest of the team combined.
Once they have that golden shining moment and it comes to them in a dream or whatever and they understand that, that's when this team and this franchise will go to another level from where it was when I was here.

I still dont think Chet should've gone #1. Orlando took the smart, safer pick
I'd take Paolo at #1 10 times out of 10. Chet will be fine, just not the monster some people think he will be.
