Is LeBron the most disrespected star in getting calls?

He's 5th all time in ft attempts. He may not get the superstar ft calls that guys like Morant and Giannis, Embiid, and Luka get. There are plenty of stars that have to beg for a foul call, because they get hit on every play.

The same thing why Anthony Edwards does not get calls. They dont reward very strong players. They reward floppers

This. The fouls impact his shot and finishing ability but not his movement. Embiid is strong too but fouls can send him flying to the ground. With LBJ it simply looks like a glitch when he gets fouled. Refs won't call that.

TBF, his Free throw rate is actually a decent amount lower as a laker, but the obvious age / playing more perimeter-oriented etc

One game when Milwaukee was at Philly, Embiid literally elbowed Gianni in the ribs on a fast-break and they called it a common foul, lol. It was an old-school Laimbeer type of foul, too.

I've noticed in recent years as well that the refs overly favor smaller players switched onto a big in the post. The second the defender flops or flails his arms while the big is backing down the refs call charges. See: Marcus Smart.

I mean you got screwed in 2002, my condolences, but I'm not seeing a significant sample size there yet. It does suck though it appears a bunch of late calls went against you, that can cost you some games. I'm wondering if sports betters are looking at this stuff and making use of it somehow.

On the previous play, they gave a very weak and-1 to Jaylen Brown (light tap on the head) that helped them tie it, and then another at the start of OT.

I know there's always some home cooking but this was a bit much / way too blatant. Really feel like LeBron doesn't get his fair share of calls (he's always had the size discount too).

I think it's somewhere in the middle. Yeah he gets hacked quite a bit but he also rarely gets called offensive fouls for bulldozing through with his shoulders and extending his arms.
