How amazing/fabulous would a Minnesota v Indiana finals series would be ?

Two small franchises who have never won a ring fighting it out for a piece of history ?

My Celtics are toast without Tatum and with all due respect to the Knicks, OKC and Denver, Wolves and Pacers is my dream finals series as Hoops Romantic (always love seeing first time champions)

And it would be refreshing to have not a Big City team in the finals for a change, if you love Hoops, you would watch the finals regardless of who is in it..

The stage is set for a first time champion at any rate (I don't count The Thunder's Sonics chip which will be handled back to Seattle once their their expansion team gets in)

Tim Conelley ain't no joke. Chris Finch needs to start being talked about as one of the better coaches in the league.

Don’t post this take on the Minnesota forum!

ECF starts on Wednesday so I’m assuming the WCF starts on Tuesday or Thursday

I honestly think if Curry wasn't injured the Warriors win this series.

Anyway, congrats Timberwolves. I don't believe you're ready but we will see.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

There's a possibility it starts Tuesday no matter what, since Wolves would be on the road.

Young guys really took over. SGA vs ANT will be the next great rivalry.

Last year's run was more impressive. This time they played against an unfinished Laker squad, and the Warriors with no Curry. They have not been tested this playoffs yet

I’m guessing Tuesday because Game 7 for Knicks at Celtics, if it were to happen, is on Monday which means one day rest then start the ECF.

Game 7 for Denver and OKC is on Sunday, if it were to happen, and if they get the same one day off would mean the WCF starts on Tuesday.

Yep, no asterisk for injuries. That can happen to any team in the playoffs at any time. Part of the game.

Yes and no. I used "asterisk" loosely since I don't assign asterisks to any championship/victory, but there are situations where you can confidently state a team won because of an injury. Toronto in the 2019 Finals, Bucks vs. Nets in 2021, etc. I'm saying this wasn't one of those situations.

That would be exciting. Their stars are very likeable and charismatic, and they play some beautiful basketball
