Why did Westbrook age so poorly?

It's odd, physically he doesn't look like he's lost much.

After his MVP season, his shooting fell off a cliff. He has never been a good shooter but he was OK. The most telling stat is that even his free throw percentage went from 80-85% every season from 2010-2017 to mid-60% since then. You rarely see guys FT% drop 20% in the 2nd half of their career. While FG and 3PT can drop as you lose the ability to create high quality shots, it's truly bizarre to see FT% drop like that.

But lets be honest teams will still offer him the max. Philly has already reportedly made him their #1 FA target. He's getting the max the question is where does he want it Clippers or Sixers.
