Cold5, never, ever, cite that **** as if it means anything. . . he's a scrub . . .

@nuggetsnews
Melo just said "I don't see it happening" in reference to the trade, but he wouldn't talk about timetable

nuggetsnews: Melo just said "I don't see it happening" in reference to the trade, but he wouldn't talk about timetable

christomasson: Asked if this was his last Nuggets game, Melo said. "Not at all. Not at all. Not at all. Not at all.''

LOL at IncarceratedBob...he also reported the last few Melo trades as done deals.

David Aldridge said that Melo still will not commit to NJ; apparently, Melo said the same thing.

I mean, he guaranteed that his info was legit and what not that time. So why would you listen to him now?

He's gotten some things right with MLB and had Gilbert Arenas trade reported before anyone else, but I realize that info on LBJ Knicks was off so he is hit or miss but this is best we have right as of late.

Woah... but everyone knew where he was going to go and who he was going to be traded for. It was just a matter of when.

Melo just killed the Nets and their FO. It was obvious that Melo does not want to sign with the Nets. Why are they still pursuing for Melo again?

This is all horse crap. New Jersey is not stupid. Wouldn't be surprised if Denver is pulling this out of their ass just to get teams to offer them something for Melo. Denver has no leverage here, either they trade Melo for scraps or he walks. Simple as that.

What else is Carmelo supposed to say to that reporter? If he was absolutely against going to the Nets things wouldnt progress to this point.

sounds like Melo is backing up what Knick fans have been saying tonight, obviously his stance is that he doesn't want to go to NJ.

Wouldn't be surprised if he in fact does end up going there though, but this is quote is out of the horse's mouth,

Looks like its Melo holding up the deal, not Denver. He won't sign the extension and NJ won't deal without the extension.

you sound like an idiot..and i doubt were worried..carmelo is not going to nj..if he was the deal would have been done the first time..come on now..he wants to do what the heat did and play with other superstars..i honestly think he'd rather go into free agency then play for a team that was the worst team last yr and just a horrible team this yr..they dont really have anything attractive to offer melo

Sources close to the negotiations have told HOOPSWORLD that they "heard it from the horse's mouth" that Anthony will, in fact, sign a three-year $65 million extension should he be traded to New Jersey.

I think this is more legit than incarcerated bob (source from carmelo's wife really?) or listening to what melo says in the media.

This is all Denver thats holding this up not melo. Melo is just protecting his image, if he wasn't interested then the deal wouldve died earlier. Denver is really scared of buyers remorse especially since there FO is pretty much made up of first timers. I mean they dont want to be fired if the trade doesn't eventually work out and be known as the guys who traded carmelo.

melo would have flat out said no if he had no intention of ever going to the nets

after that **** game he just played, he had to say what he said

Why would anyone believe what Melo has said anyway? This is the same guy who acts oblivious every time someone asks about trade rumors. If all you did was watch and listen to him, you wouldn't think he wanted to be traded at all. All he is doing is protecting his own ass and reputation. Not that it's working, clearly, as Nuggets fans were booing his ass all night...but it's a cute strategy.

Forget incarcarated Bob, hoopsworld, David Aldridge

Chris Broussard, Marc Stein, and the Woj are the ones with knee deep sources here. And all of them are acting like this is done but in the last stages of tinkering. Woj is acting like NJ and Det thought the deal was done already and were surprised when Den even played its guys tonight.

you heard Melo say it. What else do you want him to say, he is not gonna say publicly that he will sign with the Nets, because that will hurt his public image.

As far as the Nets go, he does not want to go there.

All Im saying is that things wouldn't progress to this point if his agent hadnt let them know that he would sign an extension there. Regular trades between teams itself are hard. 13 player trades are very rare and things would not get to that point unless there was some fire behind the smoke.

Melo the same guy who insists publicly that he never asked to be traded. Lol.
