just an observation, not trying to rile up lakers fans. But if Artest legitimately doesn't get suspended for the entire playoffs, there's something wrong

League commish shouldn't tamper w/ the decisions made by a team's designated GM after the fact, so moot point. The point in negotiations is to be as shrewd and forward thinking as possible, not to help the other guy any more than necessary.

I think Metta earned a lifetime ban with this performance.

God damn it Stern was the defacto owner of the team thus he had the power to make decisions that normal owners make. it was legit. for the last time.

Fair enough, but Stern was acting as owner of the Hornets, he had every right to block that trade..Pau Gasol trade you have a fair point though, just inconceivably dumb by the Grizz

You could tell it was intentional. He put extra oomph into that last swing of his arms, it wasn't part of his celebration. Then he acts like he has no idea what is going on like a little bitch. He really should be charged with assault.

An elbow like that never happens, either.

Really unfortunate. Don't think he meant to do that, but you just can't be smashing guys in the face with wild elbows like that.

Given Artest's history, and just how bad it was, why shouldn't this be one of those times that it does happen? Somebody could legitimately get hurt like that..commish has to make a statement and suspend his *** before he hurts someone in the playoffs, artest is unstable..and this is coming from an artest fan since his bulls days

Kobe gets clotheslined = 1 game suspension (An arm to the throat can F up your career, just ask Peyton Manning)

Harden gets elbowed = people calling for a 10 game suspension

LOL. Only at RealGM

It's not even that, it's always stupid when people compare their own situations to these things. Sometimes it just depends on where you get hit, and when, and so many different things. You can't just say "oh, when a somewhat similar thing happened to me, I was fine", good for you, means nothing.
