I just don't think it'll be against a good team. In fact I think it's more likely Heat win big in SA or Pop sits his guys again LOL than the Heat losing to the Spurs.

I voted New Orleans though I'm hoping they break the record by a few games.

If Pops were to sit his guys, I can see Miami losing. Agreed the streak will end to a bad team IMHO!

If they don't get the record, that team is pathetic.

And how much does PJ out-coach Spo? I mean seriously...can ANYONE see Bosh guarding Shaq 1 on 1? Does ANYONE see Haslem guarding him? At least those Nets and Philly teams had 7 footers that could get in Shaq's way. Poor Chris Bosh would be on the bench with foul trouble the entire series.

I would also take some of those San Antonio teams over this Miami team. Who guards Robinson and Duncan?

Then you have the Jordan Bulls teams, the Hakeem Rockets, and all the old Celtics/Lakers squads. This Miami team isn't close to Top-5 of All-Time. He mean hell, they are only a game or two ahead of a San Antonio team that has rested starters all year and suffered a few key injuries to key players.

I would love to watch Shaq try to defend a Lebron/Bosh or Wade/Bosh pick in roll. High comedy.

edit: this is a guy who struggled with a Billups/Wallace PnR, mind you.

That would be comedy.Every time its a score.Though bosh has no chance against shaq.Bosh would fly with every shaq bumb.Lebron would do a much better job.

I would love to see both of those teams try to defend each other.Shaq power vs bosh finesse.Dont forget when left open bosh is one of the best if not the best midrange shooter and i just cant see how shaq can guard him just like i cant see how bosh guard shaq

I don't think Bosh would be covering Shaq. However, if we're talking prime Shaq then we need to consider Zydrunas Ilgauskas as the center covering him, and he always did a good job against Shaq. Also hack a Shaq all day all night.

The Heat also had centers that were big bodies like the cat, pittman to mention a few.

Anyone who is not impressed by the streak based on the Heat's schedule: Each team they have been playing recently and will be playing from now on will act like its game 7 of the NBA finals. The Cavs gave them their absolute best, the Pistons did as well, and hopefully we will not embarrass ourselves tonight. This is the NBA, these are all professionals and the game is completely different if a team is actually trying and busting ass, as any of these teams that are trying to beat the Heat will do when they play them.

That said, Kemba goes for 35, Biyombo blocks 8 shots, and MKG frustrates Lebron and the streak ends against Charlotte!

It'll be a random team that we hardly expect. The Heat are a great team, but even great teams have an off night. I remember watching Damon Stoudemire de-pants the '95 Bulls. Anyone can pull a Damon Stoudemire.

Honestly, Heat fans, i loathe your team, but you have no justifying to do here.

25 wins in a row is simply incredible. Its a great achievement.

Their is 3-4 contenders and a lot of mediocre teams in this league, but the mental fortitude to keep this up, when most teams would have folded, is impressive.

I don't care what anyone puts up in front of me in terms of the schedule, its this simple:

THEY HAVE WON 25 GAMES IN A ROW. ARGUMENT NOT REQUIRED.

/thread

Well it's not really the end of the thread considering I made it and it has nothing to do eth the quality of heat opponent and more to do with how long the streak will last lol.

Chicago in Chicago is harder than people expect.
Certainly at 60-40 game for the Heat I think.

Chicago's home-road record is essentially the same. The only way that is a game in favor of Chicago is if Derrick Rose returns that game, but it's doubtful.

I don't know about that. Chicago give Miami fits due to offensive rebounds, I can really only recall one game where rose has taken over. They're hard for us to due boozer and Noah being good rebounders, they always play well against Miami trust me it wont be a walk in the park.

Tayshaun Prince stopped this current Lebron. Not only is Bowen arguably the best perimeter defensive player ever, but the Spurs team defense back then was fantastic.

Jason Kidd stopped Lebron. Marion stopped Lebron. JJ Barea stopped Lebron

You have to be a complete idiotic if you think 2012/2013 Lebron isn't loads better than 2011 Lebron...but saying that you are a Knicks fan...makes sense now.
