Teen Girl Squad wrote:Best (and most plausible) theory I have is that LeGM tried to float Kyrie trades after Love didn't get great offers, Kyrie got upset, then started making demands. Considering Kyrie almost never leaks things to the media, and LeBron always does (especially via Windhorst), this story sounds like LeBron is setting the stage for him to leave with some level of damage control (See, Kyrie demanded a trade first!). Leak the story now so that should he leave, some of the emotional blow is gone.
According to Windhorst, Kyrie seriously considered asking for a trade after last year's Finals.
In addition, Stephen A Smith said in March of 2016 that Kyrie was unhappy with the situation in Cleveland.
I'm not buying that this is all about Kyrie being butthurt over trade rumors. He's tired of being in LeBron's shadow and has been for a while.
