Didn't see the game, just checked the highlights - 12 points for Bamba on debut is pretty impressive for someone I was expecting very little offense out of this season. 3 ball looks good.

Solid debut from Knox as well.

What about a guy like Jokic? He’s pretty doughy with some baby fat on him too. He’s not the athletic specimen that you draw up in the blueprints.

If Jokic hasn’t been held back, I don’t think Doncic’s athleticism can invalidate him from breaking out in the future.

I’d say overall the debut was pretty good, if I were Divac I’d be **** bricks he doesn’t turn into a star.

I'm pretty sure the term is "race" - not that complicated. And why are we trying to take away black peoples' nationality exactly?

I was responding to someone else's specific point, not your point. You're taking me somewhere else, apparently.

Ayton looks really good tonight. Giles has shown flashes.

Buried behind two other small forwards, doesn't really get much of an opportunity right now. I anticipate that will change as the year progresses and our bench goes towards a small ball line up.

Ayton or Knox are my two picks to win the award, though I think Doncic is the best/highest impact prospect.

TO be fair, Jokic is center, Doncic is guard. It is much easier to overcome athletic disadvantage in basketball when you are huge. Altho, Jokic is not that much taller than Doncic actually is, but whatever.

I think Doncic will be good, Jaren Jackson will be good, Wendell Carter will be good. I think Bagley is obvious bust of the year, I just dont get his hype and man Kings did it again, its a shame. Vivek needs to step down from scouting and drafting, we all know he is heavily involved in the draft, and when he is in the room calling shots, none of his yesmen scouts have guts to call him out. That 2014 Kings draft reality show mini series was such a joke, never forget.

Ayton is the real deal. His fundamentals are off the charts.

It would be a shame if any of this young man's seasons in his NBA career were wasted on an incompetent PG. With that said you really have to be dogpile **** if you can't find him or throw him a lob at least like 20 times a game no matter how bad you are. Most people think of big man play when a big man is backing his man down in the post, but half the battle is fought even before the big man gets the ball; battling for post position, sealing your man out, all that good stuff. It's Shaq's most overlooked skill, he was a master at it. Ayton, I've never seen a big man so good at this already at such a young age.

Raptors fans complain a lot about Jonas Valanciunas not getting enough touches, but the post play relationship is a two way street. Jonas is above average at sealing his man out and battling for post position. Ayton is so good at this that if you're not getting him the ball, you really don't belong in the league. He does most of the work for you half the time.

It should be a 3way race ornament Ayton, Doncic, and Knox

I think Doncic runs away with it still.

However, I do like a lot of these young rookies. Surprisingly Bagley isn't starting (maybe should have picked Luka)

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Knowing the Kings they'd have Luka on the bench too

Ugh. I'm bummed. I wanted Clippers to get SGA+Bridges or Knox. Hornets screwed us up by picking SGA one spot sooner. If they took say MPJ, Clips would likely have Bridges also.

Bagley is most disappointing rookie so far along with hyper inefficient Trae Young relative to their draft position. Bridges, Ayton, Luka, Knox, SGA are ones that have stood out to me. Luka should win ROTY after fighting off Ayton. Bridges and Knox will be the two rookies that surprise the most people. SGA will be the best defender IMO.

Miles Bridges is really good. He needs to start for the Hornets over Marvin Williams.
