That Jordan Poole contract and his bounce back will determine a lot of things. He DEFINITELY isnt tradeable though.

Steph needs Wiggins, or Poole, or more likely both to contribute. Klay is what he is now. Makes you appreciate how loaded that dynasty team really was at the time.

he's tradeable if the Warriors attach a 1st round pick to it. considering the core of the Warriors team is old now, thats palpable.

Calm down. They can not win one year and then bounce back.

They're losing to the Lakers who aren't particularly young (at least in their duo) too. So who knows

This time it’s different. They’re older age and the new CBA kicks in which is going to hurt these big spending teams

With what pieces? The time to add a second star was when they had the #2, 7, and 14 picks. They decided to keep those picks (and draft busts/low impact players) instead of trading them. They had a golden opportunity to extend their dynasty, and Myers squandered it masterfully. This isn't just in retrospect either. Myself and many others were suggesting that GSW should trade the picks back then. I still remember some GSW fans arguing that it was better to hold onto the picks to "draft the next dynasty pieces". Outside of Draymond, Myers hasn't drafted or developed anyone of note. Taking that gamble instead of trading the picks for impact players to help their then 32 year-old generational superstar was monumentally stupid. Even if they landed the picks, the timelines of the young players wouldn't match up with Steph's timeline.

But light years ahead - Bob Myers

what about kyle lowry whos arguably the heats second or third most important player this playoffs. this is the year of the old timers

lowry 37
lebron 38
steph 35
chris paul 62

kd kevin love jimmy butler thompson 34

this is not historically normal

usually these guys are all bench warmers but they are all key players probably missing a couple too

Improved fitness tech and all time great level of 'motivated to be great' players, getting the most from their bodies. Westbrook motor pretty impressive too as he ages.

Their season is likely over, but I think GS has another few years of contention, depending on roster moves. Looks like they whiffed on 3 lottery picks, but Moody's playoff run has been pretty promising. It'd be a big boost if Kuminga developed, but without any solid starting talent from their 2y tank, it's looking murky.

But they're also probably the one team I wouldn't count out, until they're out. It'd be quite a story line if they got revenge on Lebron's 1-3 come-back in 2016.

Westbrook's motor was impressive because he only played both ends for basically 5 games in the last two years.

Just immortal performances. For example, Foreman knocking out Moorer is a Father time loss.

No it isn't. Foreman not still boxing is a Father Time win. The point is that eventually, everyone winds down. That's what "Father Time is undefeated" actually means.

We did not anticipate the Lowry Renaissance. He's playing great ball.
