The rule states the BALL has to advance over the midcourt line within 8 seconds. Should've been a violation.

It was way too obvious a call to miss. They have replays and everything and still can't get anything right.

But it's the Lakers so of course they take more FTs than any team and get calls in the closing seconds.

The problem with this theory is then you can say another missed call cost a team the game. Or another, or another. You open up a can of worms at that point. When is it fair to say the refs messed-up the game for a team? 1 Call? 2 Calls? 5 Calls? When you allow 1 call that could have affected the game to be let go, then you might as well say every missed call should be let go because each missed call can have some sort of affect on the outcome.

Nah the Warriors were always losing this one. Even when the Lakers couldn't hit a shot for 6 straight minutes in the 3rd they were still fouling them in the paint and giving them something to put on the board. Only like 3 of those foul calls were soft and or flops but that isn't anything egregious, it is just how the game is called.

If the Lakers kept double/triple teaming Steph this one would have been over earlier. The rest of the team had no juice. Moody and Hield were not gonna keep lighting it up.
