Bill Simmons made a comment alluding to this when talking about teams like Milwaukee who would rather play washed up Gallinari over the young guys like Andre Jackson Jr. and Marion Beauchamp. Their ceilings are limited because they are only as good as their aging stars and the ceiling just keeps dropping every year they continue to rely on the veterans and aging stars.
