Wait till the season start and it'll be front page again. Unless Harden starts caring about that end, people will continue to criticize him since he's supposed to be the best SG in the league right now.

Harden has been playing the exact same terrible D ever since he started playing for the Rockets. I have no idea how good he was with OKC, but I don't remember anyone praising his D there either. The national media only started talking about Harden's D for maybe the last month of the season? And then suddenly every single defensive breakdown by Harden turns into gifs.

Please, the Kobe thing is much more fun to cover by ESPN. And just like the Harden defense thing, regardless of whether it's true or not, or how much it's exaggerated, it's going to hurt the Lakers because players will only get even more weary of Kobe's attitude deserved or not.

Since mankind agreed long ago that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. No matter how serious any accusations are, there is still no certainty attached to them and being accused doesn't mean a thing. I thought it was common sense to avoid punishing a guy for something that could be false?

That "a little", on the other hand, gives away your bias and makes it clear you won't be objective on this issue. No matter how much you like Shaq, calling his boss a MFer in public is not "a little" trash talking. That is plain disrespectful and despicable.

So, despicable behaviour on one side, non proven accusations on the other. Yeah, I still think what Shaq did is worse in this scenario.

abott's next report should be:

"Star players do not want to join Kobe because his fadeaway jumper is not something approved by people who like shoot 3 pointers according to sources"

"Pau gasol told people privatley he wanted to leave because Kobe only texted on his birthday and didnt call" Sources say Anthony, James, and Bosh were in such shock by this, they were in tears and told sources they would not join the lakers"

three straight games of 26+ points, tonight on 50% shooting, but hey, It's already determined he's gonna average no more than 17 ppg this season

As much as people want to throw dirt at this NBA legend I think the 36 year old will have a great season if he stays healthy.

Guys ... chill. It's preseason.
The Lakers pretty much ran a regular season lineup of 9 guys while the Suns gave 11 guys burn.

Here were the Lakers starters minutes - Boozer (35), Hill (30), Johnson (40), Price (29), and Kobe (34).

While the Suns starting lineup was Morris/Morris (27/30), Plumlee (17), Bledsoe (22), and Dragic (24).
The biggest minutes eaters for the Suns were Tucker and Thomas at 31 minutes.

If the Sun were actually trying Dragic and Bledsoe would both have played 35 minutes.

PJ Tucker their best perimeter defender sans bledsone. He was on him the entire 4th quarter

Simply because many Lakers are out with injuries (Young, Nash, Henry, Clarkson, Kelly, etc.) Johnson playing 40 minutes is a disaster, not a desirable regular season lineup. The guy had 8 turnovers.
