According to this article, Wade wants 25 per year, and the Cavs can only offer him $3.4m maximum. Sorry, don't see it happening.

Cavaliers need him more but don't have the assets. All that will come off all this most likely is Riley will dish out 25 million a year and the heat will be capped out and unable to have any chance to improve. Riley must really be starting to hate Lebron lol.

No but in theory he might settle for less if he can win a championship, but realistically unless Lebron takes a massive paycut or they do a sign and trade of Love, its pretty impossible to get Wade.

Yeah, why does Wade need the Cavs at all? he's a three time champion. He can stay in Miami and be a Heat lifer, or take a huge pay day in some other team. Going to cleveland to help Lebron does not really benefit him at all, his legacy is fine and dandy.

The Nuggets are the only team that wants him on that contract. I'm no fan of Riley but Wade is being ridiculous. The Heat offer is fair if he wants to stay. If he wants to leave for a chance at another ring, he's got to sacrifice money. If he wants the most money he can get, he's got to sign with a team that won't be competing. If he wants to pretend that it's still 2010, he can sign with the Knicks - that's what Phil Jackson is doing.

You can't look past Wade being a huge competitor and wanting to knock off the stacked Golden State team. Perhaps going to the Finals and watching LeBron clinch a title fueled his fire for another go, that he probably won't get in Miami.

Does he need the Cavaliers? Of course not, but the Cavs are the best chance to get another shot on the biggest stage.

The Cavs are happy to talk to Wade, but they don’t have a lot of options without dramatically overhauling the roster.

Wade making 25 elsewhere is pretty much the same as 20 mil in Florida with the taxes and all. Wade is just pissed at Riley. I'm sure there was an understanding last year when he extended for 20 mil that Wade wanted that legacy contract after all he's done for the franchise. At the time Riley probably didn't think Whiteside could maintain that level of play or that Durant would become available.

no conspiracy. just my gut feeling..AV was playing poorly when he got the chance, WHEN...he was honestly useless to that team so of course they had to trade him for a better piece that eventually helped them reach the finals

Theres no way if maybe the cavs buy capspace, from lets say the lakers buy sending them a couple of contracts along with a first rounder /prospect sweetener, in order to make toom to sign wade??

They just won a title. Why would you **** up the championship team just to add an aging Wade who can't combat against Golden State's strengths in the finals? They'd just be getting him to get him.
