What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Am I crazy, or does it not make sense to put a team in Seattle AND Vancouver right now? They are basically neighbors, so you'd be cutting into the Seattle market.

Vegas would be the second location, I'm quite sure.

What name should they give a Vegas team? Something geographically related, hopefully, like the Outlaws or the Gamblers.

Hopefully we can send a bunch of teams to play the Spurs, right after they've done a small stint in LA then Vegas.

Should be Seattle with Vancouver considering how the league previously screwed both cities.

As a Cleveland Browns fan, give these cities their teams back please.

And then restructure the conferences to include 4 team divisions like the NFL has.

The NBA is stale and needs a shakeup.

It'll be Seattle and Vancouver. To be honest a lot of people around here said it. With Vegas being the wild card (Which is still a huge possibility).

    Why Vancouver over vegas

More Canadian dollars (Another Market) and the fact the NBA prematurely moved the team. Vegas is obviously a good choice also due to the fact that NHL/NFL/WNBA has made that market work.

Is a Seattle or Vancouver ownership group going to want to cough up $4B or whahever for an expansion team if they’re going to have to almost share a market with another expansion team? Seattle will have an established brand and fan base, I know it’s a huge amount of people and there are teams closer this is a **** ton of money they’re asking.

Vegas doesn't work at all tho imo, really don’t need players going on benders while on the road and economically I think the Vegas market is in for hard times, it’s not that big and the entertainment dollar is pretty stretched.

I don’t understand why they need 2 teams for expansion, the league would be fine with 31 teams. If I’m Seattle tho I’m still looking to buy a struggling team, if they acquire a team this way then I don’t think you’d hear anymore about expansion

Pistons and Cavs could contract right now and literally nobody would care. I question the logic in adding 30 more G-Leaguers to the NBA without having fixed the "superstar" problem. If you can distribute talent more evenly throughout the league (see NFL), this seems fine, but if not we'll just have 2 more tanking teams each year

If it were that easy, the Bucks would be in Seattle. Relocation is out of the question. Yes, Seattle has multiple groups that are actively trying to bring a team back. The new NHL owner (Kraken) is one. The city will land an expansion team. Vancouver meanwhile, is fighting an uphill battle. Like Seattle, Vegas has been very proactive.

Can someone explain the argument for Vegas to me? Isn't it mostly a tourist city?

Celtics lakers isn’t even a rival anymore that’s where the nba has gone

The only reason that rivalry formed was because those 2 teams were in the finals constantly. There would be no way to maintain that rivalry except for destroying parity and have those 2 teams go up against each other multiples times a decade.
