Man, Scola's still playing? I really admire his passion for his NT. I don't think that a lot of players have appeared in 5 World Cups.

He even played in PamAm games this summer

He's technically retired now, isn't he? So, is he just coming out of retirement to play with his NT?

Nigeria isn't backing down from Argentina. They definitely have a talented team. It would be a shame for them to not advance to the second round due to coaching issues but that's how a tourney works.

Ah, my bad. I didn't know he played for the CBA. That should also mean that he's very popular over there in China then. Good for him that he's still playing.

Udoh-Aminu-Nwora-Okogie-Uzoh is a deadly lineup that could go somewhere if Nigeria was actually running an offense and had a defensive scheme.

Don't forget Metu. He has also shown some very good signs.

Outside some obvious blowouts, the level of competition is really good. High scoring games and high level of play. This NIG-ARG game is very watchable, and neither team is considered to any kind of favorite.

Man World Basketball isn't 32 deep tournament, these blowouts aren't fun.

Aminu is horrible, a dude who has been a starter on decent NBA teams most of his career... Okogie remidns me of Barea for some reason.

Argentina will beat Russia, I don't think that they are in any danger of not advancing.

Wouldn't be that sure. Depends what Russia can put on the court, they've been having injury issues and Argentina is 100% healthy.

Will their players be healthy in 2 days? If yes then sure, they could potentially challenge Argentina but as they are now, they are lucky that they beat Nigeria.

Salah Mejri : 22 points, 15 rebounds, 5 blocks, vs Haddadi and Iran. Thats pretty sweet line, never thought i would see Mejri score over 20 points.

Don't know hwo healthy they would be. This Argentina doesn't look unbeatable right now, Nigeria is horrible and it's still a 10 point game.

Good for him. Puerto Rico - Tunisia is going to be one of the most interesting games of day 3.
