I"m just gonna take this as admission by Rockets fans they think Lebron is MVP. No excuse to let that happen on your own court when another MVP candidate is on your own. It's not like its a small market.

Well, a Harden MVP case doesn't really make sense right now with the Rockets in 6th place and having lost 3 straight and 4 of their last 5.

Agreed his mvp chances are pretty much long shot unless the rockets make major change at the deadline .

How the hell Harden isnt 2nd?

Lossing 4 out 5 and tonight performance didn’t help him at all 8-20 from the field.

I still got Giannis winning it pretty handily . You can move Lebron over Harden after tonight he’s had very good season so far as well.

Harden will probably whinge again when he justifiably loses out on MVP again.

One thing is for sure, the media will do anything they can to give the MVP to Lebron. They will promote him for this so much every time he is having a good game. The MVP race will not be that easy for Giannis as it should be.

At this moment:
Giannis clear nr. 1
Lebron clear nr. 2
.
.
.
The rest of the bunch.
Harden imo isn't top 5 at the moment.

What is this some reverse jinx? Where do you even get that info? For 1 member claiming LeBron is MVP there are 10 saying it's Giannis' to lose..

The only way I could see Giannis lose is because of having a worse record than the Lakers or being pummeled by LeBron & co when they play each other again.

I was talking about the media not the fans and yes the media trying to give it to Lebron, most of them at least.

So if Giannis have a bad game against the Lakers he will just like that lose the lead from the MVP race? It's a marathon not a sprint, it's about how great you were the whole season not on a specific games.

Dude literally 90% of the media are saying Giannis is the frontrunner.

And obviously it's a marathon, but individual match-ups do a lot for doubting voters.

Giannis better not lose that game against Lebron in LA. The media is full of recency bias and the Lakers doing well with AD out helps the case for Lebron.

It reminds me of Kobe the year he won it, CP3 had a great case but the media wanted to give Kobe the lifetime achievement treatment and he won that last head to head game. Lebron is basically in that same situation.

LeBron/Giannis
Luka
Butler
Harden
Jokic
Gobert

I think it's a two man race between LeBron and Giannis at this point, but Luka is still a legit dark horse to win it. If the Mavs keep winning games and he keeps putting up crazy numbers, he's going to have a punchers chance.

Luka Magic won't win it but I'm riding with him.

Both Giannis and Bron's rosters are better overall and I just personally love watching Luka. The kid's bball IQ is just ridiculous and the only one to rival LeBron's in the league. He literally controls an offence. I'm sure he'll win it either next year or the year after that at absolute latest.

Giannis 2 year arc looking similar Lebron 08-'10. Interesting to see how Bucks perform in the playoffs after potentially another MVP award and near 70 win season.

LeBron getting a lot of props for winning without AD. Giannis winning the whole season without an AD.

Giannis is clear 1 and lebron is clear 2 there’s really no debate around that.

3 down is where there’s conversation to be had.
