Ya and if we are being honest, if your offensive possession ends with a wide open MPJ jumper, open Murray jumper, open KCP jumper, Gordon open slashing to the bucket. That should be viewed as a great offensive possession.
Absolutely. I almost said something when you posted that nobody can hit anything and he should just start taking over. Which is obviously an option. But I'm putting the ball in his hands, letting him create and living with whatever the results are. It's just too bad that he doesn't really have a true No. 2 guy, instead of a handful of 3s. A legit All-NBA type wingman and they'd be almost unbeatable.
Jokic was drawing plays during time outs, Absolutely love the coaching and leadership by your MVP.

All time?
Really?
Are you serious?
Efficient sure.
Otherwise you aren’t even in the ballpark.
What a hyperbolic hot take if there’s ever been one.
When did you start watching the game? This season?
I’ve been watching since ‘94. He’s absolutely right. Jokic has the passing of Nash or Magic, but also the high efficiency volume scoring of Kevin Durant. He’s breaking basketball. It’s insane. It’s at the point where I see all-time playoff games from LeBron and I’m like “damn, he didn’t even shoot 50%, why was I so impressed by this?” This is absolutely the best offensive regular season of all-time.

Dude doesn't know the meaning of pass. Don't think I've seen him pass all game.
Jokic is trash tonight, one of many bad games he had this season. His teammates are taking bad shots for three quarters yet he wont take shots himself.
Can’t tell if sarcastic or serious…..

Re: Friday 3/3 NBA Game Thread
All season long Denver has shown an ability to lock down defensively in the 4th quarter of close games. And when they’re playing their brand of offense, there’s just no answer for that starting lineup.
Say what what you will about Jamal Murray. His inconsistencies will always be frustrating. But he damn near always comes through in the clutch when it matter most. His ability to rise to the occasion regardless of how the first three quarters went is something else, and he’s been that way his whole career.

They’re not a threat until they acquire another All-Star level talent. And Jokic will be put in the PnR every trip down the floor in the Playoffs per usual.
LOL. They’re one of three teams in basketball that has any argument as the best team in the league. They’re approximately 100x better than the version of the same team that made the conference finals when Porter was just learning how to play in the NBA and Jokic was just becoming a superstar.

Yup and if they flame out in the playoffs this year, I won’t be shocked if they try and make that move.
Because the thing is, if a defense sells out on stopping Jokic and will live with giving good looks to everyone else. If those shots aren’t falling, they need a true #2 that can create his own consistently. Also when they stagger the lineup, have that #2 lead that 2nd unit.
The thing is Murray played to that level in the bubble. And on a less talented team than this one they went to the WCF. But the thing is the difference between a legit #2 and what Murray has been is the consistency. And I’m not personally sold that Murray will ever be that guy consistently. We will see though.
IDK, every time I’ve watched the Nuggets since the New Year, Murray looks like the exact same dude he was in the bubble. He’s money. I have incredible confidence in his scoring ability. Much more than I do in Jrue or Harden and about the same as I do for Jaylen Brown.

I was looking at team clutch stats today. The difference between Denver and Sacramento in 2nd is as large as the difference between Sacramento and Milwaukee in 10th. They’re crazy good when it really matters.

Re: Friday 3/3 NBA Game Thread
I didn't watch the gmae between sac and lac but i wanted to see some plays at the end and first one i saw is this one:
https://www.nba.com/stats/events?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&GameEventID=639&GameID=0022200954&Season=2022-23&flag=1&title=MISS%20George%2026%27%203PT%20Step%20Back%20Jump%20Shot
I can't fing beleave they are letting him push like that. It is happening every game he plays for at least 6-7 years. Maybe i don't know the rules, can someone explain to me, am i wrong?
I got annoyed by it when i watched Suns-Clippers couple of years ago in the playoffs and since then i just see that when i watch Clippers play... He is always dribbling with his hand far away from the body and pushing all the time...
And also this **** by Draymond... only he can get with things like that withouth tech...its amazing...

Kerr having a boner for Lamb is one of the strangest things I've seen out of the dubs this season
I'm not sure when "right now" was, but a few times, he came out when Ingram came out. I also wish Kerr would play Kuminga some of Lamb's minutes but that move makes sense because he wants him fresh to take on a tough player to guard.

He's got that killer mentality that the Nuggets really need.
It's something most non-Nuggets fans don't realize, which is fine. If he's healthy during the playoffs though...watch out.
