Re: March Madness Thread
Without question, the worst case scenario for NCAAW. An all-time matchup by two teams that are playing fantastic. A skill level rarely seen in women's basketball.
And they somehow make it about themselves. Terrible. I will write a sternly worded letter to someone if I can figure out who.
Just absolutely terrible, terrible, terrible performance. They should be demoted to U10 soccer.

The level of refereeing really sucks.

Re: March Madness Thread
The biggest moment in the history of women's basketball and 3 women refs absolutely fail it.

Re: March Madness Thread
What type of rule is that where a technical counts as a personal foul? Or is my knowledge of basketball lacking

Re: March Madness Thread
It is crazy how slow some of these players are to loose balls. Excellently played game but that is hard to adjust to.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?
Please advise….

That last call may have zapped Clark. She's worried about picking up that last foul especially since she already got 2 offensive ones so she's playing a little more cautious.

I've never seen a coach get as much of a leash as LSU's. She's been on the court all game and has even pushed a ref.

It's similar in soccer too. The level of play in the women's game has gone up so much, and it's genuinely a good product, but if you look at the goalkeeping, the drop in athleticism is shocking.

Re: March Madness Thread
The most accurate description of Caitlyn Clark is a mix of Luka and Curry. Morris on LSU’s mid range is money.

It isn’t everyone which makes it noticeable cause you see a loose ball and a player with a very clear advantage just unable to get to the ball. The athletic disparity from player to player is really jarring.

Mulkey's a hell of a coach. To win a college title at 2 different schools is impressive.

Re: March Madness Thread
LSU has played a better game today but it's just sad all the earlier fouls changed the game, then the refs completely changed the 4th q.
Sad.
Sad.

Re: March Madness Thread
So the NCAA players can’t leave school early to join the WNBA? I hear that right? That’s kind of garbage that they have to finish all 4 years of school.
