Hali amd Giannis
Giannis with Mobley works
Knicks can offer more and he’d be in New York..:

I would take Cleveland's potential offers over the Knicks. Pacers and Knicks realistically have no chance IMO.azcatz11 wrote:HMFFL wrote:The Pacers and Cavs need to pursue Giannis. While he can be the missing piece for every team, he can make the Cavs, and Pacers legit Champions.

KAT+Bridges isn't a bad deal.
PS. I don't think any team will trade for him if he doesn't want to re-sign.
Bridges probably never makes an All-Star team and KAT needs to be motivated anytime he's on the court.
It isn't a bad deal.
Bridges is on a great contract and he can be flipped for even more value later on.
KAT is an All NBA player who can also be flipped elsewhere and bring back picks and value.

We're talking about Giannis here. Milwaukee isn't going to just take guys they can flip later. This is their chance at rebuilding their franchise. Like I said, short of exclusively demanding NY, and even then I'd imagine Milwaukee would force the hand a bit to get a 3rd team involved to get picks, young players.
They don't benefit from tread milling with KAT or Bridges and their future value is not guaranteed.
The various trade machines think Mobley and Garland for Giannis and Pat works financially at least.mg wrote:machu46 wrote:I would take Cleveland's potential offers over the Knicks. Pacers and Knicks realistically have no chance IMO.azcatz11 wrote:

Cavs will be in 2nd apron and cannot aggregate contracts to make a deal. It's literally impossible for them to acquire Giannis without a ton of cap maneuvering to get under the 2nd apron.

I mean I would love Giannis, but don't Hou and SA have a ton of picks and young assets?
OKC also has a ton of 1sts and young guys. But if they win it all, may not be worth experimenting too much
We could offer Reaves, Knecht, Rui, 2031 1st, swaps, and contracts. I don't see what the Bucks do with this team, need a 3rd team
Say Giannis wants the Knicks. The Lakers package to the Bucks, Giannis to the Knicks and Towns + OG to the Lakers.

I think Barnes + Ochai + Dick + 1sts and pick swaps from now till 2030 would be the package that works best for both sides.
Gives the Bucks an up and coming all-star, two starter level young talents, and 5 future firsts to use to replenish their chest of assets.
Raptors run a starting lineup of Quickley - Barrett - Ingram - Giannis - Poeltl, which is comfortably a Top 4 lineup in the East IMO.

Masai reportedly played a role in helping Giannis' family secure Greek citizenship which made it possible for Giannis to travel internationally to play basketball leading up to the NBA draft. That is the only reason the Raptors are even remotely a possibility.

That line-up isn't better than what the Bucks trotted out and they weren't top 4 either.

If we don't have to lose all prime assets then well ok I guess but if Giannis isn't thrilled to play with Wemby to play in SA and for the Spurs, or wants a team to be built around him, well I'm ok if we pass.
