Celtics/Pacers would be a pretty lame ECF. If so Celtics get to run the gauntlet of Miami Heat with no Butler or Rozier, Cavs and Pacers.

I mean pacers are a way more talented team than the Knicks so that would be a much better series than Josh hart and divencenzo pulling miracles out of their asses against the team with the best record all season.

It's just a lame East like it was during most Lebron years. Nobody on earth thinks the Pacers or Cavs are winning the Championship. I doubt most of their fans are even that delusional.

NBA games have mandatory tv timeouts. A team DOES have to call timeouts at certain points (such as close to the 8th minute mark and the 3rd minute mark). If they don't call a timeout, they get penalized for it.

I firmly believe that a healthy a knicks squad would easily beat the Pacers in 5 or 6. This doesn’t even include Randle. Just the roster they had going into the post season when OG, Bogi and Mitch were part of the rotation.

But a team can only play who’s in front of them. So Pacers did what they had to do. Can’t take that away from them.

Carlisle should've been CoY??

Hali and Siakam are good, but neither is a top 15 player. The rest of the team features some good depth, but still not a team that has any business being a Top 2 offense all year. You watch them play and how relentless they are in passing cutting and constantly moving - that's pretty much why they win and it's all Carlisle. The only other coach who might have this team playing like this is Spoelstra.

Well he wasn't in the concideration because nobody is watching us. The narative was allways "the Pacers play no defense and they are just a fun team to watch" when in reality the team improved tremendously over the season. We sucked early on defense because we played Nesmith at PF and got killed by wings and rebounds. We also played Buddy Hield a ton even when he was a negative on both ends of the floor. We should have been a 50+ win team but we lost a ton of games against the worst teams in the league. Our record against the best teams is really good and since the allstar break we are number four in net-rating I believe. Sure Millwauke and the Knicks got injuries to important players but our team is good and full of players with great mentality and won't roll over. Everybody is talking about the dawgs of the Knicks but our guys are dawgs aswell. We won't get any credit if we win this series but it is what it is. I'm just happy that our guys learn a lot from this playoff run and will be better next year from this experience alone. Nembhard is in his second year, Nesmith didn't play much for the Celtics, Sheppard is a rookie, Mathurin isn't even playing and Walker will hopefully play way more minutes next year. The future looks good with Carlisle leading those guys. Let's f'n go!
