For someone who has really disliked Lebron because of the Decision, my respect for him was restored with this letter. I thought it was incredibly classy.

Where are y'all getting this? We just won 2 titles in 4 years, and 3 in 8. The ones who were Heat fans in the first place will be out here watching just as adamantly as we always have.

Really?. Your crappy fans walk out in the third qtr during the finals. Walk out in game 6 the season before. The only difference is the fans will walk out the whole year.

Even after four years of us being in the national spotlight, you guys don't understand the dynamic of Miami fans? How is that possible? Real Heat fans are among the most passionate fans you'll come across. They simply can't afford the seats you see on TV. The people sitting in the lower bowl give us a horrible, horrible name.

Yeah i can't afford to sit on the low level seats. I paid $212 for a 300 level seat during the regular season against the Spurs. I was with REAL Heat fans making noises and all the bottom people were sitting and chatting their business. They don't even stand up at all. Don't blame a whole fanbase because of rich people taking over the games. I would not afford to pay 500 dollars for one game. I'm not that stupid to spend that much, i rather watch it on tv and drink beer.

Oh and we need to dig up the posts of Cavs fans bashing Lebron when he made the decision to go to Miami. As a Jazz fan, and Lebron fan (favorite player), I'm happy he signed in Cleveland, because Wade and Bosh were not good 2nd 3rd options anymore, not to mention the only supporting cast he basically had, well the occasional showing of Ray Allen too. Much better team in Cleveland.

I'm only though page 16 of this thread where this above post was posted... but how many of those posts from Heat fans have you actually seen in this thread? Dont make stuff up just to bash Heat fans man... no need. We catch enough undeserved grief as is...

It's nice that it's over for a lot of the bandwagoners, but kudos to the real Heat fans for:

a) not hating on Lebron irrationally and recognizing the fun/success he helped give the city of Miami

and

b) Staying loyal and not giving up on this new Heat squad, which will be a little harder to love at first.

Seriously. It's the non-Heat fans that are being dicks and rubbing it in. This can happen to any team. OKC could be dealing with this in a few years unfortunately.

ESPN just showed a real dumb 25 yr old Heat fan right now in a interview...Literally 3 minutes of this fan saying he hopes Lebron chokes on his rings, and he left for the money and he hopped on over to Miami.

Just baiting Miami fans there

This is awesome. This is such a cool sports story...

I'm rooting for the Cavs! They will be fun to watch.

You know, all those 'fans' that walked out in before the end of game 4. Without showing some respect for what the Heat accomplished. Suck ****

I think a true heat fan are fans who followed the heat during the mourning days before they won a championship. After that, it was mostly bandwagons.

I'm not going to count for you, but some people calling Lebron loser and ring chaser for his latest decision. I'm to the Ticket Miami radio station, and there is a mix of grateful Heat fans for the 4 years and then those bashing Lebron and saying that the Cavs suck. I know there are real fans in Miami, have a couple of friends that have been supporting the Heat since the 80's/early 90's, but there are a LOT of people in Miami that are fairweather fans, lets me real here. You're not going to see a sold out arena for a while in Miami. They'll probably be way below capacity now. It's just the way it is.

I think they're only open to trade Bennet and Dion

Well played Cleveland. Happy for their fans. Based on radio it really means a lot to them. Hate can come another day. Today, rejoice.
