+1

I don't think they will be better than last season....certainly not top 3 record in the East.

I agree that the Raptors are getting a bit over hyped, but they play in the worst division in the NBA. They're pretty much guaranteed to win the Atlantic.

What about what they did last year was a fluke? In terms of ORTG and DRTG, they were the best in the East.

You're confusing me for the people that posted above me, I never said your season last year was a fluke. You guys have a good, young team. I just agreed with them that some people are getting ahead of themselves with how good you will be next year.

The one thing I will say is that we were extremely healthy last season

I think we will take a small step backwards but in the grand scheme of things, nothing to be worried about

The only thing most us Raptors fan will say is that we are a 4th seed team winning the Atlantic, I personally wouldn't be surprised if we get eliminated in the first round so I don't know where you get that overhyped stuff

I guess the team I really don't have a feeler for right now is probably the Pacers, since they were two totally different team at the start and end of last year.

But simply in terms of intuition I guess it would be.

1. Cavs
2. Bulls
3. Wizard
4. Raptors
5. Pacer
6. Hawks
7. Heat
8. Hornets / Nets

Something like that. I'm not sure how far the Heat would fall, but they are relying a lot on Wade and Birdman who were both rather old and creaky at this point. I'm going to guess that they are going to have some bad streaks when health and depth becomes a serious problem.

Something like that, but it's really hard to feel for a lot of these teams, the Nets probably move backwards but it's hard to see them really fall out of a division this weak, the Hornets are moving in the right direction but it's hard to see them beating any of the team above them, the Hawks should be better , the teams Pacers are so hard to figure out at this point so I'm just hedging on them a bit. the Heat is still very talented but they're relying so much on injury / age risk guys. etc.

So the conclusion is, I'm fairly sure, barring a Rose comeback of epic proportion, that the Cavs would win the East, Love trade or not, and one of these 9 teams won't make it due to some luck / injury issue, I suppose Boston / NY have a punchers chance at the 9th seed but I don't see enough there to expect it. Boston still can't shoot to save their life and NY would need time to adjust to new system not to mention Bargs is a automatic -5 win for any team he plays serious minutes on. Unless Amare eat some magic beans there seem to be very little chance .

Well excuse us for not expecting great things out of Jacque Vaughn and a team of 19 year olds..

So what do you expect out of the Magic??? Just ask an honest question. They may be ready by 2020

People are sleeping way too hard on the Hawks.

Budenholzer is about to open a lot of eyes this season.

Ok what position does he play.??? That division is still the Heat to lose and the Wizards second.

The Nets aren't going to go down without a fight. That division will probably come down to the end of the year similar to last season unless the Nets get thrashed by injuries which is possible.

A fight LOL, maybe a little league fight, Toronto has that division locked up, the silly (NY) boroughs may fight for 8-10th seed.

He is a very good coach and I believe that Atlanta will contend in the Southeast besides with a heathly Horford/Milsap/Teague/Korver/Thabo, they are a very good squad. Dont overlook this team.
