whens hes not he looks like a gleaguer. i dont understand why he is so inconsistent. he has like 30 games of bad shooting when lebron i dont think he has off shooting night more than a few.

You know how averages work right?

Particularly given he had a poor shooting night 2 days ago, but managed a triple double which contributed significantly to a win over the Lakers.

He has many less than 30 poor shooting games per year in any case; as you point out it would be rather difficult to win multiple shooting titles averaging over 30 points per game were he very inconsistent at all.

Some guys just have to go through weird hoops to get recognition no one else does. Curry has to win a threepeat for Cleveland before people acknowledge he may have some sort of all time great impact on a game, that no one else has to do so is irrelevant.
You know this is tongue in cheek right? OP was serious but most of the posts have either mocked him or laughed at how wrong he was.

Curry has a good shot to pass Micheal Jordan for games over 45 pts at over age 33. Just 5 more times.

Jesus wept. Instead of enjoying Steph Curry's amazing playing skills, sad people are trolling him here. This thread has one useful quality - it's a containment thread for all Curry haters, otherwise it's a total dumpster fire.

OP was quite sporting about it all in the end last season. I think there was still one serious Curry hater among the recent posts though who triggered a few people including me.

-2 last night. Steph playing below his potential. A constant underachiever. I expect better.

You can't be incredibly successful for any extended amount of time without contingents of fans hating you. It's a testament to greatness.

And all those turnovers.
I rather have a real pg like Rubio- David Kahn

I know this is sarcasm but there's so many people who really believe Steph is a bad PG because his assists numbers are low.

Kerr runs a motion offense. Kerr doesn't like the ball in one person's hands too long. Therefore Steph doesn't get a lot of assists because the ball moves so much with all the passing and cutting by the entire team, hence GSW leading the NBA in TEAM assists in 6 of the last 7 seasons (even during their bad years.)

If people use assists as a barometer for good PGs, then that would mean Draymond Green is as good of a point guard than CP3 because Draymond averages the same number of APG.

Srsly. If he had a better +/- he wouldn't have to hit game winning shots down the stretch possession after possession. If you look at it that way, being the best shooter in history is actually a negative. If Curry was a better basketball player, he wouldn't have to be such a great shooter.

Exposed as a frontrunner perhaps. Off night and he became allergic to the ball at the end there. Tsk tsk. Shook. Wasn't even trying at the end when the only way they could've won is curry hitting 3 3s.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
You can have bad games but he shrunk at the end by not being aggressive.

Got smothered by one of (if not) the best wing defenders in the league.

More like he just missed shots.

Warriors gain Klay Wiseman Iggy Lewis in a little bit and get better. Real Warrior team is months away.

This is a Nov game.

They didnt have Booker. CP3 and role players shut the entire Warriors team down, and made Curry look like a complete scrub. The Warriors arent there yet, they need to continue to grow as a team, Curry cannot be relied upon in big moments. This isnt the first time hes completely choked during big games. He does it often.
