Don't think we're quite ready for the playoffs yet. Probably going to be another year finishing near the bottom. Maybe that's the best thing long term though. We NEED to get a halfway decent wing here somehow.

Also Sexton and Garland just aren't going to work, and I hate how long the FO is prolonging this experiment because we lose leverage in a Sexton deal by the day. You just can't get stop when you're that undersized in the backcourt.

I said it upthread, I think Sexton got himself traded tonight. Worst game he’s played in literally years. Garland had no problem navigating the court, probing the defense, head on a swivel. Sexton was lost. Got pick pocketed too many times. When he can’t play coast-to-coast and do his iso-heavy game on the perimeter he’s worthless. This game felt like a playoff game at points and he was a liability.

Maybe hyperbole on my end but he’s in a contract year and dropping the ball (literally).

Sexton wasn't the same after he caught that stinger in the first half. He got hit a few times and didn't get any foul calls. He's played really well the past few games though.

For such a young team, the Hornets resilience when they fall behind is impressive. They did a good job on defense for the most part but it seemed like their defense breaks down after the initial stop

Ball needs to be more aggressive and more decisive, one of the negatives of being a good passer and willing passer is that sometimes you’re still contemplating your options as you go up to shoot and I feel he’s doing that rather than approaching the shot with the focus it requires

Was very impressed by Hayward, he looked much better than the last time I watched him play, more confidence in his game

The East has so many good teams with the Bucks, Nets and Heat likely to be at the top by the end of the season yet still have some interesting teams with the Hawks, Knicks, Sixers & Bulls.

It's even worse than that, somehow the Mavs lost while having a +14 free throw advantage. They had 27 free throws.

From Luka on down they just shot extremely bad.

Thanks for the correction but that’s huge difference given how important 2nd chances points are . But yea Dallas couldn’t shoot tonight or rebound at all so it’s double whammy

With Westbrook,he need to attempts more threes this year.First 3 games he had 9-11 threes points attempts in each game and he was good in that but not tonight.

I agree with him having to shoot more 3s with WB. Also believe he had to take more 3s this game with Mobley and Allen being in the paint though. Never ever seen Lebron take 10 3s and brick 9 of them. Usually doesn't keep shooting like that if 2-3 doesn't fall. Could be age as well though.

And that’s fair, I don’t blame anyone for not liking the Raptors announcers. I’d probably dislike them too if I wasn’t a Raptors fan
