You'll never get it out of my head that whatever the rulebook says supposedly, those NBA refs are going by my rule as I learned it in another country a million years ago: If you plant your feet and absorb the contact it will hurt, but the refs will call a charge, if you're moving or backpedalling they won't. Grant Williams plants his feet and gets rewarded, Rob Williams doesn't and he doesn't. It happens again and again.

Should be flagrant 1. Didn't make a play on the ball just wrapped a guy up. That's the type of foul that should be flagrant since it's not a basketball play.

Why are these kind of fouls a common foul. This isnt attempting to get the ball, that is just purely hugging and stopping players, the game shouldnt be about that.

These type of fouls should be flagrant 1
