Curry will likely finish with 20 pts once he pads his stats while the warriors are up 20. Dude is a frontrunner.

Harden 5-7
Rest of team 9-31 :banghead:

I hate Harden's iso ball and him dribbling down the clock, but if that's what it's going to have to be, so be it. The other guys need to step up on both ends. It's not like the Warriors are playing out of their minds right now. We have also given up so many rebounds.

I’m really wondering if the Rockets defense is just that good to keep Golden State from really going up big or do the Warriors have fear for going up huge & losing a large lead like in that Clippers series...

my question to some of you peeps... why did some of you feel this is a deeper rockets team compared to last year? Since when is faried/rivers/iman/house considered quality playoff depth?

No, but Lamar Odom wasn't nearly the defender, playmaker, competitor or leader so the comparison doesn't make sense

Your evaluation of what it takes to be a top 10 GOAT is way off, that's the point.

There are all-time greats who were not elite scorers, had great iso ability or post games. Draymond is one of the best defenders of all-time at the 4, one of the best playmakers of all-time at the 4, and an all-time great competitor and leader. Those all-time great talents are unfortunately counterbalanced by his being a very bad shooter from everywhere on the court. If he was a good shooter from everywhere instead, is it so hard to believe he might be in the Top-10 discussion? Could he be Top-25? If Draymond could consistently average 50/38/75 he would be a better player than Kevin Garnett.

Rockets 1 O reb in the first half (8 for GSW), outrebounded 27-18 overall, and have put up 9 fewer shots.

Why are people on the board still whining about Curry? Fine, he's a scrub and a frontrunner...move on.

Yes. The perfect lineup in today's NBA consists of 5 guys who are all:
1) Great shooters
2) Can put the ball on the floor
3) Have passing ability, and:
4) Have the foot speed to switch everything

You're going to see the C position get leaner and leaner with guys who can shoot, switch and explode to the hoop. You're also going to continually see all players get better and better at off-balance 3's. The evolution has only just begun. It won't start switching back until it has gone too far and a new SHAQ/Wilt comes into the league that can't be stopped.

Because they replaced Ariza with all 4 of those players.

Austin Rivers somehow managed a -27 in 14 minutes, 13 points worse than Shumpert at -14.

Yeah. I hate Kevin Durant but this series should be about him. The guy is putting up great numbers with ridiculous efficiency. Durant has always been better than Curry. Nothing new here.

I wouldn't call it that. Rivers has been huge for the Rockets and Shump was good off the bench in game 3.
