I get that this is what news outlets do, but I hate that this is even being mentioned without it being confirmed. If you go on twitter there's already conflicting reports about this.

I'm so gutted...unbelievable. Was watching the Pro Bowl and saw the breaking news interrupt the game. I thought "This must be serious because this isn't normal". When I saw Kobe's and picture, I audibly gasped.

I was just going to share a Kobe clip with my SO today. I have a pair of never-worn XI Elites in my closet.

This hurts...oh man. His impact on the game alone was profound. Devastating...

I'm sure Kobe was on it, but after that I'm not sure.

Could be 5 passengers on board? I dunno I hope you’re right.

Even tho TMZ is trash, when it comes to reporting death, they are usually reliable. Death is a very serious matter. Unfortunate news. Wow.

All these other reports i am not getting. They just said on the radio Golden State practice got the news and shut down. No media availability. They should just cancel the games.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

This has to be the biggest tragedy in pro sports history right? I honestly cant think of anything that compares outside the Marshall plane crash, which was sadly more deaths but nowhere near the icon Kobe was.
In 1958 half of the Manchester United Football Team got killed in a plane accident, also the Death of Ayrton Senna pops to my mind. Just wanted to mention it, but this is not a game of ranking the most dramatic deaths here. RIP to a Legend!

This is when things get really hazy. So many different places reporting different stories. Hard to keep up with what is actually happening sadly. Reports are 5 are dead, so it cant be Kobe and his 4 daughters plus a pilot. Then you got the Rick Fox stuff as well. Hard to keep what's real and what's not.

All 4 of his kids were on board? Wow. His wife lost her whole family today. Absurdly tragic.

There were 5 confirmed deaths so Kobe, Fox, and the pilot. So how was all 4 of his daughters on board?

I really wish the news about his daughters aren’t true.
