The funniest thing about Neutral 123 is the irony of his name. Anyways, I'm going to quit the political talk. It's hard for me to keep my mouth shut, but the mods are right about this thread going off the rails.

I think Kyrie will probably get the shot at some point. It would be lunacy not to. He would be walking away from so much money. I understand he is already rich, but it's hard for me to imagine someone throwing away their career over something so stupid.

It's crazy how people cherry pick stats and then use that to justify tyranny. This is a matter of trust and some of us don't trust big pharma or these government agency with their ties to big pharma.

There are plenty of scientist and health care professionals that are against these vaccine. Hell Iceland just banned the Moderna shot. While Denmark, Finland and Sweden have all decided not to give these vaccine to people under a certain age. The idea that this is widely accepted in the scientific community as the consensus best way to go about getting a handle on covid is one of the biggest propaganda campaigns in human history.

I think you misunderstand the situation in Iceland.

1. Iceland has suspended use of the Moderna vaccine, with concern over reported side effects. It is not banned. Their public health officials feel they have plenty of other vaccines available to use instead of Modern while the side effect question is researched, and thus use of the Moderna vaccine can be temporarily halted.

2. Iceland fully supports vaccines as the best way to combat Covid.

3. Iceland has primarily used the Moderna vaccine as a booster second shot as follow up to the J & J vaccine. The decision to suspend use of the Moderna vaccine was easy because it has been a minor part of their vaccine effort and they have an abundant supply of vaccines to use while the Moderna vaccine is suspended. It is incorrect to suggest that the Moderna vaccine was suspended because they think vaccines are not part of the solution.

One, good Lord is governor a brutal nickname for owner. If I open up or buy a restaurant, am i a restaurant owner or a restaurant governor? If we're gonna make owner a dirty word, atleast go with chairman. That atleast makes more sense definition wise.

So anyway, they're gonna meet with the GM and the chairman to discuss his playing time. If I'm them, I would tell Kyrie he's either all in or all out. With him going back and forth in and out of the lineup all season, that's gonna be brutal for building continuity and a pecking order for plays, shots, feel, etc. Even without him they're a championship contender. Probably would have won it last year without Kyrie if Harden was healthy. Having to constantly adjust then re-adjust their roles on a game to game basis will do more harm than good imo, especially come playoff time.

I would have gone the other way past even governor. If I owned a team and couldn't call myself an owner (tainted word now) I'd only agree to the most impressive title possible. Either call me Pope or call me robo-falcon. That's what I want on the tv screen by my name, not chairman.

KD and Harden together again is enough to make them contenders. And they're fairly deep as well, or at least have some very interesting depth. They'll also very likely be the premier destination in the buyout market.

I again wonder though.. does Kyrie have positive trade value? I'm really not sure anymore..

Once the games start playing and the attention is off of Kyrie, sometime in like Jan. He will magically have a change of heart and get the vaccine, just in time to be well rested for the playoff run.

I definitely think he'll cave sometime this season. The pressure will be too great and he'll just say "I've done what I could to spread the message".

Hopefully the league doesn't also mandate buying globes of the earth too.

Kyrie is a constant circus act. This is not the first time he's caused headaches for his team. Remember when last year he suddenly decided to go MIA for a few weeks?
