I get what he was trying to do, but he should still have tried to bank the 2nd shot and play the foul game against The Suns (hack a Nurk etc)

Truth is Lebron couldn't be bothered to show up this game and got locked up by Royce **** O'neal. If he was even half decent we'd win this game. We lost cause he played like an idiot.

Nurkic was the only reason the Suns didn’t win by a much bigger margin. He was the Lakers 2nd best player after AD and Reaves.

Bud is a better coach than Vogel but for this team specifically he is a far better fit. Vogel is a great defensive coach one of the best but he has always struggled to manage oand coordinate offenses. Those Pacers he coached had some horrendous offense he even had struggles with a prime Bron and Ad. Bud has always turned water to wine and never had this collection of offensive talent and shooting. Suns defense will be a problem though

This is one of those very rare games where you can blame the loss almost entirely on Lebron. Which is a testament to his greatness really but also an indication that the decline is slowly but surely coming.

Basketball is not that simple. The Suns shot 30% from 3 vs the Lakers 45%.

A Suns fan could argue this would have been a double digit win had the Suns made shots they normally make.

Fans tend to cherry pick one number, disregarding other abnormalities.

The precedent was set that Phoenix was going to keep fouling up 3. It's not THAT bad of an idea seeing as there was only 6 seconds left and 0 timeouts

He still can be great in spurts but the consistency looks like it's fading.

Lakers also stiff late when AD was clearly fouled trying to make a lay up. No call

How was that stupid? The Lakers had no timeouts. The Suns had Booker and KD to shoot free throws and they were going to foul the Lakers before they had a chance to take a 3-pointer. I think it was the better strategy.

lebron literally played his worst game with lakers jersey and they lost by 4. i see nothing but positive for the lakers so give the old guy some pass. all that matters is he shows up at the playoffs. he is 40 for gods sake

Lebron was horrendous. But equally as bad was Jaxson Hayes. We lost this game because these two. Jaxson Hayes is not an NBA player. It's a miracle we were 3-0 with this dude getting 16 minutes a game with the gauntlet of tough games we've gone through.

Pelinka needs to find a big man asap. Even Dwight would be better than this dude and Dwight is washed.

It's good to win, and I can't complain to much about the Suns being up 3-1 to start the season, but this game once again showed me that Bud needs to move away from our gimmicky three guard lineup and move Dunn in as a starter.

Trade Nurkic + Grayson Allen + '31 for Claxton (through a third team)

Spurs get:
Allen + two second round picks

Nets get:
Nurkic + Zach Collins + top 3 protected' 31

Suns get:
Claxton

Not sure if it works entirely under the CBA but it should be close.

Tyus / Morris
Booker / Beal
Dunn / O'Neal
KD / Oso
Claxton / Plumlee
