2. Why didn't the Clippers just take their loss and move on?

In a word: desperation. As former NBA executive Bobby Marks noted on Twitter, pursuing a free agent after he's committed to another team is a "big violation" of the NBA's unwritten rules. This is, without a doubt, the type of move that can leave a lasting mark on an organization and a general manager.

I dunno about that though. With what we know now, the metaphor is the GF left her guy for someone else, then called her guy up to ask if he'll take her back. I don't see that the Clips did anything wrong anymore. This is all on Jordan. At the very least, he should have called Cuban and asked to back out.

Someone please give me a quick rundown of their roster without DJ.

C - None on roster
PF - Dirk / Villanueva / Evans / Powell
SF - Parsons (hurt) / Jefferson / Evans
SG - Matthews (hurt) / Harris / Anderson
PG - Barea / Harris / Felton

Matthews turned down the Kings' offer because he wanted to join DeAndre in Dallas. Don't be surprised if Matthews also backs out of his agreement and calls up the Kings to get the 4/$80M they reportedly offered him.

God I hope not, I think Kings dodged a bullet with Matthews. I'd rather have Marco and Kosta. Plus I think it will be funny :D

How long until I get to see DeAndre's head on Seth Rollins' body and will it be Dirk/Cuban or Doc/CP3 on Ambrose/Reigns?

I remember John "God told me to sign with Sacramento" Salmons after he agreed to sign with Toronto.

Not NBA but Emmanual Sanders agreed to go to KC and ditched for rival Denver the next day. Real bitch move by both player and stealing organization. Verbal deals should be kept.

How about the time when Carlos Boozer convinced the Cavs to let him out of his contract (they had a team option) so they could sign him to a long term contract? Once they did that he quickly signed with Utah.

LOL at Dan Fegan. Losing DJ hurts BAD as a Mavs fan, but this shows how dirty the NBA can be as a business. CP3 is the best PG of this generation, ridiculous that an agent would say something like this.
