To be real, you arent wrong. Not showing up in big games consistently is probably the biggest knock on him as a player, and will continue to follow him as long as he continues to put up games like he just had vs the Suns.

I agree but wow surprised that this is coming from you.

Fans are exempt from disappointment? He's just calling a Spade a spade, its been a narrative against him, even if it isn't entirely true. He is doing himself no favors with such games.

Is it surprising that a player with a 3-point shooting average in the low 40%'s will have games shooting 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% & 60%?

Curry is shooting. 411 from 3.

Is it surprising that players shoot a lower 3FGA% against better defenses?

If you were an NBA coach, would you focus your defense on Curry or some other Warrior in a big game?

Tough tough season for Steph's haters - he led his team to a joint first place without his Splash bro. It must be miserable to cope with Curry's brilliance every year. I hope he wins a 4th ring this season.

Games like last night is why I'm still happy Durant left the warriors. The Warriors even without Durant are still title contenders and could still win it all this year but when Durant was with them basketball was just less interesting. No team had a chance of beating them with Durant since he could easily pick up the slack in games where Curry struggled. It makes the game more interesting with Curry having no room for error now when it comes to the Warriors winning the big games.

Jokic is the new shiny player but Curry will always be better, amazing his impact, he transformed the game, now teams and other players are just doing copy paste but there is only one Curry.

If the guy is unable to shake the narrative of being a choker, that is on him. These type of performances don't help and certainly give the haters something to grasp at, and you know what, they wouldn't be completely wrong.

You either change the narrative, or you let it sink you.

This whole thread is weird. The idea that a guy that has made over 300 million dollars, is in the discussion of GOAT PG's, is unquestionably the greatest shotmaker of all time, and is in contention for his 4th NBA title is "letting anything sink him" is crazy.

I think we are all being prisoners of the moment.

Last nights showing was the worst I've ever seen him play. Its also not likely to be repeated again this season, as Phoenix was allowed to be unusually physical on the perimeter. Those turnovers were not an accident, and in Golden State on Friday, those will be called as fouls.

Watch and see....

He should go down greater in history, but he has these moments that are always held against him. There is only one reason anyone can think KD is better than Curry and it's because games like this stick in their heads for a long long time.

Times like this show what people mean by you can take curry completely out of a game, something you can't really say about any other all time great.

I'm a huge fan but i'd be lying If I said Curry doesn't often disappoint in big games, and this has been a theme for him in his career.

I don't disagree. I was diasppointed with last nights performance. Not even the missed shots, but the body language. But I understand it. It happens.

man he was going for 1-20 so close but he made it to 5-20.
waiting next time for a new record by mr curry. if someone can predict his next exposed game, i would pay courtside.
seeing curry struggle is best entertainment for me than a team winning.

curry sucks bc he will bumslay weak teams with 60% fg which makes up for his numerous 10-30% exposed big games.
if you took statistics in college, you will disagree curry is the goat shooter. give me klay over this chucker.
i would rather have a consistent shooter with 8/10 good games than someone who has 3 great games and rest is luck of a draw. you cant let 1 guy determine the outcome of the game.

Not as effective without Draymond Green = exposed.

he was always exposed before green came. green literally gifted him 1 billion net worth.
now i understand why curry stans keep claiming green is untouchable. green is a scrub but he improves curry by 50% just standing there.

Curry is not having a good season. He’ll have 1 game out of 5 where he’ll go off for 40 but his shooting has not been particularly good, he continues to be a liability defensively and cannot carry his team the way that other superstars can. Embiid, Jokic, Giannis, Durant, DDR and CP3 are all ahead of him in the MVP race. I give the GS role players alot of credit for overachieving and getting them to the best record, but what Curry just produced is indicative of his season.

Have you even watch any Warriors games? Lol
Curry is at near the top in Warriors defense.

He’s poor defensively. Always has been. Good offensive player when he plays to his strengths.

So all players in NBA history who have been on a team which lost by 3 points to a good team are totally discredited ?. That Michael Jordan guy must have been a complete scrub. His 71 win team lost to an expansion team twice.
