Where has this Tarpey guy been all my life? Feel like I have a pretty solid handle on international hoops and I’ve never heard of him before this tournament. Pretty damn impressive.
The Milwaukee Bucks are NBA Champions.

He's been god awful.
But what a defensive half from France. That's the barbed wire defense that makes us win games.

@Chuck

He plays in my home team (Le Mans) and he's been the same in our league since he joined us after starting his pro career in the second division.
He would have 5 more cm (about 1 and a half inch), he would be in the nba, he's like MKG with a reliable offense game (not talking about the 3 even though he is solid around 30%, but he reads the defense well and does not force anything).

He had an experience with france A' team years ago so technically, he already played with the nt.

For the record, he has french background but also Lithuanian & italian origins

Amazing personality too.

If PJ Tucker can play in the NBA, maybe Yebusele can too? Dancing bear can lock up people.

Turned in late in the second Q but Rudy just completely shut down Poland's inside game, literally nothing coming from close to the basket or even inside the 3 point line. This is a terrible mismatch.

I hope Poland will do better...

My wife is pretty upset right now... I want the win but if we walk through the Polish, I will have a rough evening...

Man Poland had a great run. Props to them for knocking out Slovenai and trying to put up a fight against France.

Btw Goberts FG attempts are simply so painful to watch. Either him or his coaches deserve a lot of blame for not making sure he put in work in the summer. Every FG attempt that isnt a dunk has almost no chance of going in.

Definitely, on a regular basis, not every NBA team will play such a defense as this France team, but I think today we saw how Ponitka and this Polish team fair against NBA level athletes and defenders. Gobert, Yebusele, Tarpey and Albicy always play great NBA level defense.

I feel as though this might be the highest point differential in Eurobasket history for a semi final. I dont remember a team ever getting destroyed this bad at this stage

I dont know who needs to hear this but remember this is a single elimination tournament

Think of how many upsets there are in march madness compared to nba and apply it in fiba tournaments when evaluating a player/team results

(Ok, not exactly a legend tbh, but there were some games that he looked like Curry ! )

You have to remember to use the green font...........

38.8 FG%
41.2 2 PT FG%

36.7 3 PT FG%
80% FT%

9.7 PPG

Yep, definitely was like Steph Curry..................again, please remember to use the green font next time.
