So is there anyone here who thinks Edey can play the gobert role?

Dude played HOW MANY MINUTES on the second night of a road back-to-back, shot almost 50% from the field, and you think he’s like the TENTH best guard in the league? Really?

52 minutes. ONE turnover.

Classic RealGM - you guys can’t hammer Embiid cause he didn’t play, so Maxey catches strays.

Never change, guys.

Could have fooled me with that take.

he's right though. at this moment, Maxey is better suited as a #2. I think anywhere from the #6-#10 range is appropriate for Maxey

I am not so comfortable in saying that the Lakers/Suns will excel without HCA in any series. Laker role players play way different on the road.

Its more just not believing in Minny. They have terrible perimeter play outside of Edwards, and i feel like the hype has outpaced the play for him (face of the NBA talk). As far as star guards go, he's more middle of the road offensively than special, and they dont have enough offense for him not to be special in a physical playoff series against a good defense.

Not the most efficient night to score 50.

Is he one of the best guards? I don’t think he’s in the top 6-8 range. But he’s close in that 9-10 range.

It's always fun when people struggle to fathom that their opinion is not universal and that someone not sharing it doesn't mean they're a hater

Absolutely no reason Ham should’ve benched Dinwiddie. Offense is stagnant as hell now.

I'm more surprised by the fact Maxey shined so brightly beside Embiid but he sees now it takes much more to lead a team to wins when you are the best player and a true playoffs all-star. Why has Philly not even won at .500 record when he was the only star after Embiid injury ??

He needs to prove more in playoffs compared to other star guards who were great in the playoffs. I trust Brunson more to carry his team than Maxey as the nr.1.

Hell no! If there was no defensive three seconds, maybe, but as such, there is no way he can be anything outside of a situational player.

You can agree with him. I don’t.

It will probably come down to Maxey and Brunson for that last spot on the All-NBA teams, and my guess is Brunson will get it because of the Knicks season. Personally, I am good with it for salary cap reasons - it will take up an extra chunk of the Sixers cap space if he makes an All NBA team.

That ain’t 10th.

And he’s only 23. Brunson will be 28 in August.

Yes I agree. Just watching them back 2 back and I feel gobert is under appreciated

Hopefully it wasn't mistake riding him that hard tonight. he just came back from an injury and we probably are locked in to the 7/8 play in game anyway. Doubt we pass Indy who has the tie breaker. But Maxey was phenomenal, that was an Iverson like performance out there.

Gobert's impact is undeniable. Look at Utah. They will be lucky to be close to that good again (in the next 5 years).

And Anthony Davis with a hell of a slam there.

Still don’t understand why Max doesn’t get Reddishes minutes. Takes Ham forever to process information.

Lakers offence is not the issue/problem right now.
It's their defence. Giving the Wolves way too many good/open looks on the Perimeter.

They missing Vanderbilt badly for teams like The Wolves who shoot well from down town

Maxey is a tier below Brunson.
