Embiid going to USA, other teams should take who they can.

Estonia is Balric country by title, but they are pretty much Scandinavians, but smaller, Basketballl is not much of a thing there.

"Baltic States" by definition includes Estonia

Years ago some Estonian foreign affairs(?) minister declared that Estonia is in Scandinavia, but nobody believed him

Juancho injured, Nuñez just doesn't play. :-?

Greece just too good in the end. Well I am happy that Croatia made it this far with all the $#it in recent years.

Jubac is better than it shows in the NBA, he doesn't have range but strong and great finisher. Amazing fight from the Croats, but they where just thin. Great game in general.

If the Bucks need replacement of Lopez can get Papagiannis, 5/8 with some nice blocks and high rebs.

Toliopoulos is a Euroleague player for sure. Gunner fast and smart. Calathes is his best version of his life.

Giannis hit the wall still was so important, and this time is not our team just a very important part of us.

Solid run for the bahamas and nothing but respect for Hield who was there from day one when they were playing in those crappy ass gyms. Bahamas next step should be to get all the paperwork done with players like Evan Mobley, Klay and whoever could potentially play for them and try to book a ticket to the world cup in 2026.

Edgecomb will have a year of NBA experience under his belt by then too and Hield will be slightly older but not too old.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Shout-out to Bahamas for holding their pride against Spain, a true team.

But but but werent nba players better than euroleague players? How did a team bahamas with 3 nba starters lose to a team Spain with one nba bench player ?? As i've always said non superstar nba players are less talented than euroleague players. This game and Fiba world cup games are proof to my claim.

Other than the NBA guys and Edgecombe Bahamas had nothing. One of their startes is in the NCAA, as a coach.

I'm wondering if Sloukas and Papapetrou will join the boys for the tournament. That will help.

Gianni was very good but didn't have to dominate the ball, and was largely patient. His mid-range was falling nicely. Spanoulis has them all locked in on the defensive end. That was the star of the game, I felt. Croatia put up a good fight but we were dogs on defense. Calathes and Papagiannis were really good as well.

Congrats to Rudy "Screech" Fernández for making history playing in his sixth Olympic Games, by the way.

No one will convince me that there are 30 Centers better than Caboclo right now in the NBA. He deserves a legit shot

Sloukas I think that he is in, but Papapetrou no. If we can have Rogkavopoulos then with those 2 I like our chances. I mean I can see clearly better than us only USA and France. The one is Sloukas, i would love to see pick and roll with him and Giannis and Rogka is a sniper with size from the SF spot.

Liked the look of the new little Trey Young/Spanoulis looking guard on the Greek team. Greece should at least be a first round entertainment team.
