I don't watch a ton of Lakers games but I always imagined Rui as big as he is to play his size. He needs so much setup to get going.

No they don't he's not a legitimate second option for Luka. No defense either, bad fit. I mean it would be funny if the Lakers do that though, but it would waste Luka's prime.

Okay maybe a little comeback from the Wolves in the 3Q. They did play better latter half of the second.

I'm more peed about Reaves then anyone this game, his not being his normal self and settling for 3's ...

Drive to the damn basket Reaves and draw fouls, do what you do best - play your damn game.

I'm always scared of 3rd quarters for Lakers, not just this series but every damn game.

He can’t do that on these Wolves defenders. They’re longer and stronger than him and it’s clearly got him rushed. He has tried to get the Conley switch but it hasn’t worked great yet

He’s had some success against NAW but in general this is a a bad matchup for him. That being said we’d be singing a different tune if he hit half his open threes.

Post Lebron is all about Luka and putting a team around him that maximizes his skillset. Which is high end athletic wings that can shoot and rim running and shot blocking big men. Reaves is a fine player, probably would be on that Tyler Herro level but i don’t know if he’s a long term fit around Luka.

I thought rescinding that trade was a mistake too. Luka knew what he wanted, and it's not like Knecht, who is OLDER than Williams, is getting burn here. Luka went to the Finals last season with a starting center even younger than Williams and with almost the exact same physical gifts
