Crazy how the NBA works, you know you hear stories about how guys look in practice vs in games, but Mitch still comes back home to southern Louisiana in the summer, and he plays pickup and does some stuff for the kids in the local community at my old elementary school. He and some of his cousins I played ball with growing up get some work in while they are down, and I swear he looks smooth shooting and pulling up off the dribble at like a high school 3 point line range. I would swear he’s someone who could have figured out shooting. Then I watch him shoot on TV and can’t fathom how awful it looks for someone that has been a lauded prospect since he was a young teen lol.
