I really like what I have seen from Jonas Val. he really addresses what has seemed like a neverending need for a big man who can defend. Bargnani doesn't look nearly so awful defensively when he plays along side him.

Jonas has been pretty consistent with his rebounds and blocks. He hasn't yet hit the highs of some of the other rookies this preseason like Drummond or Davis but he's had few lows aside from his first preseason game. It'll be interesting to see how he develops.

Valanciunas has been covering Bargnani's ass on a lot of Bargs hedges when he guards the pick and roll, but it's not just Valanciunas. Bargs has really made strides as a defender so far. We'll see if it sticks.

When he plays normally, he is able to get around 4-5 rebounds even in 13 minutes of playing time. He really is a solid and consistent rebounder. I think he was a bit nervous in game 1, so he was thinking more than reacting.

Harrison Barnes seems like the only rookie who shoots the ball less than 10 times a game this preseason.

Yeah his shot attempts are real low. That said, it really shows how important it is for a player to do things other than score, because your shots are not guaranteed when you're a rookie.

Val has been impressive so far in the preseason. I hated the pick at first, but if he keeps it up during the regular season, we have a legit starting center for once.

Barnes at 47 FGA in 6 games Drummond at 43 FGA in 6 games granted Drummond is playing around 8 less minutes per game.

what happened to Terrence Ross? Why is he not playing? A lot of people were saying he is the best sg from this draft class... Is he injured or something?

Yeah, I also just added his shooting numbers. He was super efficient shooting it tonight.
