As a Lebron fan, I'm disappointed. I wanted to see him compete for more rings (which Philly was ideal for).

Looks like he made this move because his wife wanted to live in LA. There is no way he is going to compete with GSW or Houston with any team LAL puts together.

This roster is already better than the Cav's, so nothing really changes.. he just faces GS in the WCF instead of the finals.

If LAL don't pull off more moves this current roster will get crushed by Utah.

No it isn't. Ingram, Kuzma, and Ball are still raw and unproven (Ball could just plain suck).

The issue is he didn’t take the max every year. He took less in Miami and when you add the % more he can get after each year it adds up to this.

You sure I thought there was a cut off for these supermax deals and Chris Paul basically used his leverage as President of the players association to extend the age limit. I could be wrong not well versed in the CBA.

Since when is it dumb to use your cap space to sign the best player in the NBA? There will be more moves coming. I expect KL to be traded to the Lakers. If it doesn't happen KL will just sign with the Lakers next year.

I also think Cousins is a real possibility as well.

Yeah dude terrible deal for the Lakers. They could have built a core of McDermott, Noel, and Pat Connaughton for the same price. Who knows maybe even squeeze Salah Mejri and Luc Mbah Moute in there. Built a real Super Team around their Young guns to take down the Warriors.

Honestly I think it’s messed up how Lebron is and his crew created the mediocre Cavs team then bounced.

Unless they get AD with Kawhi, the Lakers aren’t beating GSW.
