Re: OKC is a disgrace
I’m here to be a part of this historic day. Years from now, people will be asked: “Where were you on the day the thunder lost 152-79??”

Re: OKC is a disgrace
The league has no rules against the intentional tank, but they they need to bring the hammer of thor down on OKC.
This game may end up being the catalyst to truly end intentionally losing games in the NBA for high draft picks.

Give us SGA back for Morris Sr. and Bledsoe for crying out loud! What the hell did they want with him in the first place?

Good thing the Thunder have like 20 picks to refill their roster within the next few.

Re: OKC is a disgrace
Someone please tell them you're only supposed to tank at the last quarter of the season, not through the first one.

It was 145-67 before the Thunder went on a 12-7 run in garbage time to avoid being doubled up

Re: OKC is a disgrace
Reminder that OKC were tied for 4th seed (in bubble, so literally no difference between 4th and 5th) and lost by like 4 points in G7 to the Rockets.
OKC could be where Suns are right now if they wanted to. I truly believe that. CP3, SGA in place of Booker, trade some of those juicy Clippers picks to land Capella or someone like that in place of Ayton. Obviously that's a bit simplistic and the team isn't literally the same, but the point is if they kept CP3, focused on actually developing SGA, and used their Clippers picks aggressively they could be a serious team right now in the weakest Western conference this century.
But hey, humiliating themselves and ending up with the #4 pick so they can make the playoffs five years from now sounds good too I guess.

Move them back to Seattle. It was stupid to move them to Oklahoma of all places in the first place
Praying for Burrow

Silver doesn't have the balls to screw Presti over like he did Hinkie.
Oh and where is the piece of **** Stephen A to scream and rant about this "travesty" the way he did the Sixers.
Yeah, I'm still massively bitter over the NBA destroying the assets we garnered from our designed tank. Meanwhile the crappy Lakers, stupid T-Wolves, imbecile Kings and BS Thunder all do it and for more years and nothing gets done to them.

It's long overdue for the NBA to disincentivize losing. Not only does it hurt the product, it doesn't even serve its intended purpose - to help bad teams improve.

when they land Banchero, Holmgren or Smith, true difference makers, this will be long forgotten and forgiven. It will all be worth it. This is the system that is in place and this is how they need to approach it given their situation i.e. market, cheap owners, draft, etc. Even if the NBA intervenes out of spite as they are known to do, OKC is guaranteed to get a difference maker to go with the young talent already there. I'd rather my favorite team do this than be mired in mediocrity for a decade. Almost every great team was built through the draft until recently.
