Nuggets are notorious for sucking at trades and FA signings. If it wasnt for the Jokic miracle pick they would still be bottom dwellers.

I would argue the way that Murray has been playing, he IS the second star. Doesn't make sense to not give this team a proper shot at the playoffs before making major changes. Over the last 15 games, Murray is averaging 25/5/7 on 49/42/91 splits, those are elite #2 stats. I think they should give this core at least one chance in the playoffs.

The Pels better call up the Nets and see what it would take to get Bridges. If they were interested in OG, I feel like Bridges would be an even better fit

I like OG>Bridges for the Pels, if only because of the size. The Pelicans have 100000 guys who can lock up 1-2-3 but less guys who can defend bigger guys.

The Pelicans wing rotation is already loaded though and any wing acquisition is going to over load that a bit. Obviously, you do it for a talent upgrade but I don't see the big team need here.

There's a lot of casual Murray hate since we haven't seen big sustained stretches of elite play from him. I'm on the other side: I think Murray is a clear all-star level talent and the exact kind of explosive perimeter option that works well with Jokic. Jamal Murray might not have the brand recognition of a "#2" right now, but I think he has that talent and is the perfect fit with Jokic's game.

@JCowleyHoops
Just heard from a source that Bulls and Knicks are revisiting talks on a LaVine trade. Talks began yesterday but broke off. Now back on.

Nothing immediate that would help the Bulls. Knicks do have like 4 incoming protected FRPs from other teams (DAL, WAS, DET, MIL) and their own 2023 FRP outgoing.

If Knicks want to jettison Rose and Fournier, it would take at least those picks plus maybe a player like Toppin.l or. Future Knicks FRP.

If the Bulls trade LaVine they might as well blow it all up though.

Pels need to get rid of JV and get a center that can play defense. They don't need his offense once Zion is back
